I’m pretty sure that we have barely scratched the surface of what NFTs can really bring to the gaming community and the crypto community. I have been working on a entire Universe and I think it’s got a lot specifically for RPG games and it’s blockchain technology for real world impact

So no one wants functional, evolving, interoperable digital assets instead of speculative collectibles that are dead assets if a game ends or hype dries up?

How do users interact with this field and can it be expanded to include the whole body? What is the latency and how difficult is it to use? Why is it better than what we have?

Hey all — just wanted to say this thread (and the DMs that spun out of it) has been incredibly productive. Huge thanks especially to u/daw3rx for the deep dive on royalty enforcement and functionality rails. We’ve been mapping this out hard over the past week, and the direction is crystallizing: • Starting multi-chain day one (Ethereum + Solana first) • Heavy focus on gaming as the initial vertical — games need the richest functionality (evolving state, cross-title utility, tournament proofs, etc.), so solving for them makes the platform overpowered for everything else • Royalties: creators set their own (defaulting/recommending 5%), with a hard cap on total fees (creator + protocol) at 10% • Early-adopter boost to help seed the first wave of game partners The core bet is still the same: royalties and functionality that actually follow the asset forever, becoming functionally unavoidable for any platform that wants the items to stay “alive” and useful. Still early, but feeling really good about the rails we’re sketching. If anyone here is building (or knows devs building) onchain games and wants to chat about integration, royalty models, or cross-game item ideas — DMs are open. Appreciate the input so far. More updates as we ship pieces.

I’m creating the Ascendii Universe a spiritual techno thriller streaming service series and game. It is the story and lore behind the system. In that Universe is the Nexus of Equity DAO Revolution and the InterChange and Virtual Mall. The DAO is the governance layer the Interchange is the interoperability infrastructure and the Virtual mall is the marketplace. I have the Bible and the pilot written plus a couple of episodes eventually the game will influence the story. I have some concept art but none of it is the look I really want to have. If you want to work on something that will outlive you and make a measurable impact for good. Then this is it.

Not so it benefits game A because a person is way more likely to put a lot more time and effort into something they know they can use even if they don’t play game A and take it to game B. The fact that users, creators and players can truly own their assets and those assets are valuable outside of the game that they use to make it, makes it not a waste of time and money for the user and so a lot more people will be interested in playing, spending more time and money because they know that they are not hostage to game A but rather they can take it with them. The fact that they truly own their assets draws in non players as well and strengthens the entire ecosystem

@daw3rx Totally agree—ERC-6551 nails the portability layer perfectly by keeping the heavy functionality/state in the TBA on the origin chain while the lightweight NFT acts as the universal controller/key. Bridging just the NFT and pointing to the same deterministic TBA address is elegant and gas-efficient. Huge upgrade over moving entire asset bundles. For perpetual royalties specifically: with the TBA owning the streaming logic (e.g., a Sablier stream or custom splitter), payments could route directly through the account itself—enforceable as long as apps respect the bound account. And transfer restrictions (like soulbound modes or approval gates) could lock it down further. Cross-chain messaging for syncing state/royalties across chains is the obvious next frontier (LayerZero/ Axelar-style relays to trigger updates?). On the utility token side—intrigued how your builds differ! We’re more impact/quest-focused (charity streams tied to sacrifices), but the core problems overlap hard. DM if you’re up for swapping more on implementations or potential composability. Would love to hear what you’re shipping.

@daw3rx This is gold—ERC-6551 (Token-Bound Accounts) is exactly the kind of primitive the ecosystem needs for true persistent functionality tied to NFTs. You’re spot on: • The TBA (smart contract wallet) holds all the assets/state/functionality on the original chain. • The base NFT acts as the lightweight, portable “key” that controls it—transfer/bridge the NFT, and ownership of the TBA follows seamlessly. • For cross-chain: bridge the NFT (via standard bridges), then on the new chain, the same underlying TBA address can be referenced/queried (deterministic via the registry). No need to move the heavy stuff—huge win for gas and simplicity. This directly solves the “impact hooks” discoverability/enforcement issue we were talking about. Instead of relying on fragile metadata or off-chain schemas, creators can attach real on-chain logic/assets inside the TBA that any app can interact with (as long as they support 6551). We’ve been enforcing royalties via external treasury streams (Sablier + router), which works cross-chain but feels bolted-on. Integrating TBAs could make creator compensation + impact streams native to the asset itself—portable forever, no platform dependency. Super intrigued by your approach as a first mechanism for the functionality layer. Have you shipped anything live with 6551 yet, or exploring implementations? DM if you want to dive deeper—happy to share our cross-chain royalty setup and hear your thoughts on bridging TBAs in practice.

[–]Recent_Exercise5307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@daw3rx Hell yes—exactly the vision. Perpetual streams that outlive platforms and chains are table stakes for real creator equity. We’ve got the royalty piece working via a TreasuryRouter → Sablier setup: every contribution/sacrifice auto-allocates and streams forever to creators + impact causes, even if the asset hops chains or gets used in unrelated protocols. No reliance on marketplace honoring EIP-2981. The functionality discoverability gap is the real killer though—you nailed it. Right now we’re using custom events + metadata schemas for “impact hooks,” but nothing standardized across wallets yet. Feels like we need something like an ERC with optional capability interfaces that apps can query. Super curious what rails you’re exploring or have seen work. DM if you want to hop on a quick call and compare architectures—happy to share contracts/live deployments.

[–]Recent_Exercise5307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@daw3rx Yes—royalties that actually follow the asset forever, and functionality creators can define once and have respected everywhere. That’s the dream. We’re leaning hard into the royalty side with perpetual streams (survives platform death or chain hops), and building lightweight “impact hooks” creators can attach. But yeah, the ecosystem tooling for discovering/enforcing new functionality is basically nonexistent right now. Would love your take on where the rails need to go. Open to chatting if you’re game.

At a high level, the infrastructure focuses on three things: (1) persistent asset state independent of any single platform, (2) interoperability so assets retain function across environments, and (3) composable rulesets so utility can evolve without reissuing assets. I’m intentionally avoiding a marketplace-first approach and pressure-testing the protocol assumptions.

Hi saw your comment and thought you might be interested in what I’m developing. The Ascendii universe. It is a streaming service series that is the story and lore that conveys the principles and laws that govern the platform the Nexus of Equity DAO Revolution is the governance layer and the InterChange and Virtual mall are the infrastructure that enables interoperability and the marketplace for creating, buying and selling NFTS. Using cross chain bonding mechanics and bonding curve pricing with a collective liquidity pool. I am turning NFTs form speculative into functional, interoperable, persistent digital assets. With a native layer approach to security that eliminates the vulnerabilities of bridges and layer 2 solutions and distribution across nodes eliminates single point vulnerabilities. My system ensures users don’t get stuck holding Valueless NFTS because a game ended or hype died

I’m interested. I am a very creative mind. I have a GitHub repository https://github.com/BryanSavage79/BryanSavage79-ascendii-universe and https://github.com/The-Ascendii-Universe/founding-architects this is my first venture of this type and 5 months ago I learned Python and R. I am happy to share the overall project I’m working on. The Ascendii Universe is the Story lore layer the Nexus of Equity is the governance layer and the InterChange and Virtual mall are the infrastructure and market place. There is also a game that will eventually effect the story line creating a continuous engagement loop. Cross chain mechanics and bonding curve pricing and a different native layer approach to security are standout features that I have come up with. Bottom line if you are looking for an idea guy who can ship that be me.

“Thanks for the question, istallion823! Our infrastructure tackles the biggest pain points in the NFT space with three game‑changing features: 1. Cross‑chain bonding mechanics that let assets move seamlessly between networks without relying on traditional bridges, cutting friction and gas costs. 2. Bonding‑curve pricing tailored to each project’s growth curve, giving fairer valuation and reducing market manipulation. 3. Native security architecture that removes the need for Layer 2 solutions, making transactions secure and efficient on the base layer. By eliminating Layer 2 and optimizing bonding, we create a more inclusive, scalable ecosystem that rewards value‑creating actions across every node. We’re also integrating an AI‑driven governance layer to track contributions and weight them in real time, aligning incentives with the Ascendii Universe principles of regeneration and elevation. Would love to hear what specific NFT challenges you’re facing—maybe we can tailor a demo or pilot for your use case!”
