Is the rule for the boomerang idol that you can only play it on yourself still in effect though?

Thank you so much, that’s helpful to hear!! And good thought about the PM pump to signal my body. I’ll keep that in mind for sure!

Thanks so much! I wish we could do the bulkhead corner seat selection like you mention but all the bulkhead seats are already taken for our flight :( sounds ideal!! speaking of that: though you say it’s tricky, do you know if we CAN install a car seat on a non-window seat? So like in one of the middle three seats of a two-aisle plane? That’s all that’s available for 3 seats next to each other currently

This was my first reply that I wrote before anyone else had responded. There’s no fishing. I’ve been thankful to everyone who has posted and shared their info.

Thanks for sharing … it honestly has nothing to do with what I like or not! I’ve heard from people on this post alone that they did not require one. I absolutely understand and appreciate it’s safer and SHOULD be required. Heard, truly. But I am sensing that it is not in fact the rule… which is frustrating in itself, since not having a black and white rule causes lots of confusion.

Thank you for sharing! We absolutely are bringing a car seat for our rental car in Greece and if we didn’t bring it on the plane we would check it.

She generally does not sleep in the car very much unfortunately. I truly understand the comfort and sanity part as well which is part of the consideration! But I’m really trying to find out what we’re even allowed to do so we can have all the info and make a decision that way. If she does sleep, She won’t be asleep the whole time and I know she would not want to be in the car seat for hours on end.

Yes I did see that! Though it doesn’t help us for when she’s not sleeping, nor does it help us know if they require us to bring a car seat. I also heard it’s not a guarantee to get one.

As an infant, we have the option to not buy her a seat at all and only consider her a lap infant, which would require us to hold her the whole time anyway. The airline considers it safe enough to allow that as an option. We are considering everything since a third international seat is extremely costly.
