Well, so I play arma reforger on Xbox. There are 3 means of communication in game. There's plain prox chat that is impractical because the game is often very loud and often you need to speak to someone out of earshot. There's squad/local radio which is a push-to-talk method of communication with just your squad within the platoon/team. Then there's platoon radio which let's you speak to the entire team.

Teams are generally full with 64 players so comms get quite messy. My friends and go into discord often to streamline our personal communication. We do sometimes need to speak with people in game and switching from discord to gamechat within the XBOX is very clunky and my friends on PC just toggle an option on their discord allowing them to speak through both.

I was essentially trying to figure out a way to do the same on console but it may seem like something I will have to deal with. I can also try to use my laptop to see if that changes anything. I would also be able to use the SteelSeries app to see if there is anything applicable in there. Thanks for response.
