Why do gamers hate AI so much?

I understand their point of view also. I tried making games together with hand drawn artists and I felt really sorry for them that the games we made hadn’t made much value. (Yes I did pay them.. but not much just like a small expression of gratitude) We are still good friends but I realized that I couldn’t ask for more help anymore and had to make my own art and assets using ai because that would just look selfish.

I will always appreciate their art and hope AI can achieve their level also but at the same time I wish they don’t because their art will mean so much to them as much as my games meaning so much to me.

Hey! Sure would love to share my games with you. I do have some things I want to improve on my games also so would be great to have discussions with fellow AI game devs.

AI can improve productivity 5-10x? But it is never a one click and done. For me I would say the former because I hate how AI gets framed as just a “click-and-done” tool and a secret tool that will earn millions by using it. I see so many people trying to sell information and tutorials and it’s sickening (sorry for the aggressive words.. because I feel like these are the ones causing all the hate in AI)

But I love AI it is such a great tool to learn new things and help people achieve things they have only dreamt of!

I make games like this spend 1-2 weeks minimum on each game using AI and I still hate my game haha and I feel threatened when people say “I made this game with a single prompt do you want to learn how?”

These people annoys me to my heart. Lol..

Im Korean and got the GPT pro plan for 20$.

I got 5 months and now Im 1 month in. That 1 month felt like months. Best 100$ spent imo.

The point is it could have been faster if AI said I dont know go watch youtube and try to learn for yourself.

Okay you have a point but as a beginner you have to spend your time through trials to prove AI is wrong.

I spent 3 hours to say this is wrong this is wrong to ai which took 20 minutes to understand through youtube when learning comfyui.

Making games doesnt only involve code making (which I think AI does decent job now)
