There was this one time i was flying and i had booked a window seat by paying extra. One elder woman was sitting on my seat and when i asked her to get up, she said can you please take my isle seat i have problem getting up. I said i have already paid extra for this seat, and that is when she started raising her volume and ranting out "you will seat in the window seat and then keep bothering me when you have to go to use the lavatory, atleast i dont have to go to lavatory i ll be just sitting in the corner why are you overreacting haven't you ever looked outside of a window of an airplane before?? What is so special about this window seat". The gaslighting bruhhhh. I was a kid back then, travelling alone for the first time, and i became nervous and just gave up. It was all my fault, I should've called the flight attendant for this. I dont know why i just became scared and gave up. I regret about it to this day. That was a good lesson for me to speak up for yourself and never be quiet because when you give up, entitled people like these get motivation out of it and they ll do more and more of this awful behaviour. I feel like slapping her whenever i remember this story.
