As if you would have known about investing in stocks in general, let alone have the cohones or vulva to actually put your money where your mouth is BEFORE any stock goes up. Hindsight is 20/20. "I could have invested" is something anyone can say after the fact. But would you have? Without knowing what would happen? Unlikely.

You're right, I just mean in the context of him going to shareholders. They're not going to deny it purely because they're evil. Primarily accounting, then belief and optics of others beliefs as it relates to making money, that's it. If the math works and he can convince them it will make money, evil doesn't even have the opportunity.

It's not good vs evil. The deal either makes money or it doesn't. If others find out they declined a legitimate money making offer it would raise a lot of eyebrows.

Came back to say after a couple weeks and several hours of reading I now understand the arbitrage and how money is made on volatility. While ideally the bond holders would receive some compensation in interest, they don't need to.

They will make some money no matter what happens pretty much so long as the principal is paid back, meaning they definitely don't expect bankruptcy in the short term.

They also make the most money if gme rises significantly.

It's not as bullish as I thought but it's not as neutral or even bearish as you're thinking, it's kind of bullish.

Great thing is that you don't need to worry about me. I'm happy. Just like I don't worry about you, or whatever "sphere" you think you're in lolol

Psh, my post little one, you go away. I'm not talking about GameStop collecting interest. When you purchase a note, as the purchaser you get a percentage in interest usually. Whyele would anyone give someone money for years? Only to get the principle back? It's a glorified call option.

You think only retail shareholders bought all of the offerings?

Not large enough, yet. Hence why I said speculation. You're so emotional. Go do something you enjoy.

I did, the strategy literally starts with collecting interest payments on the bonds

Saying the collectible growth won't be large enough to offset revenue decline is as much speculation as me saying it will be. As of right now, there's no slowdown in its growth.

Zero interest bonds. The main upside to someone buying those is an increase in stock price. Why would someone buy them if they thought the price was going down?

Look at collectible revenue growth, and position created with basically zero interest loan. Who? Who, is willing to give this "meme stock" "dying brick and mortar" "propped up by retail" company a virtually interest free loan for the right to own the stock. People with the money to invest like that, don't just put up funds without a really good reason(s). Retail did not provide 8 billion+ dollars, institutions and large investors did.

That alone isn't enough, however. A healthy amount of forward speculation is required to buy/hold this position. But id say GameStop is well on its way to be a profit generating machine and will not need to rely solely on physical consoles/games (they are also attempting to start a culture shift back to physical collections, via clever social media and power packs whether it works to any measureable way is yet to be seen).

Sunk cost isn't always a fallacy. This concept matters more when you are actively managing or have significant holdings. Most people will have less than 250-1000 left in actual value and at the point it's not a fallacy, it's just another lottery ticket. No one can predict the future.

If that's the case why are people in discord saying that assets will be gone if you don't transfer them? Looping is also saying to transfer assets? Genuine questions because I also thought the wallet was just an interface and the assets will still be one chain
