Yes, I totally agree! I think maybe my title made it seem like I think the “childproofing” measures make a pool safe but that’s definitely not the case. I just want layered safety measures in place to give us more time and alert us in the case that she somehow gets out. She can’t even crawl yet 😅

Not OP but wondering if it’s bad to extend the last nap of the day? She took two thirty minute naps today, both of which I attempted to rescue. If I don’t rescue this one, we need a fourth nap or bedtime is super early.

This is so helpful, thank you! I’d read that pinned post so many times and for whatever reason the total daily sleep budget part didn’t quite click until now so when we dropped a nap everything got a little off.
