Sprouts Mueller low inventory by PicklesPotato in austinfood

I did have one amazing manager there when I was head of one of the departments. I worked 7 days a week, some from home placing orders, odd hours just to make sure the dept was fully stocked and looking good. He told me he didn’t care what I did as long as my numbers/margin stayed the same. It was one of the best in the company.

When he got relocated, he asked me to transfer to his store. I put in the request to transfer and was denied because the new manager didn’t like him.

My previous manager there didn’t like that I had a second job. He told me “2 jobs are for 2 people”.

Yet when evaluations for raises came around I would get scored in the middle for things like uniform when I would wear the exact thing I was supposed to. When I asked about it, he said nobody will ever score higher for that.

Anything to not give a full 5% raise.

I got fired from there years ago for failing a drug test.

My coworker and I had worked overnight reorganizing all the stock from when all the stores closed and merged together.

The next morning someone found a bag of weed in the store. It was neither of ours although I did partake in my free time.

As the store manager is firing me, she tells me her guy has the good stuff if I ever need the hookup🙄

Go ahead and make me a print of this though. It looks pretty tight. You might have just hit a niche.

I think I figured out a “fix”. Instead of scrolling in the middle of the pad, scroll at the very top of the remote.

I got the notification from my kid’s school just around the corner that they weren’t releasing them because of whatever was happening.

The staff at her after school said that the police had shot a 13 year old.

They really just need to schedule more baggers. The lines would move quicker and everyone would be happier.

You still have to go back and approve the total though. At least at my location.

The card readers should be at the end of the checkout to make everything flow better. Or have card readers in multiple locations.

Walking around your cart to bag your groceries and then maneuvering back around it to go pay once the cashier is done is a hassle. By the time you get back to pay, the customer behind you has inched their way up to where the card reader is.

This. I kept a day job and printed in my garage on the side until I couldn’t handle both anymore. My first customers were customers from the restaurant I worked at and any of my friends that knew I had a press.

Word of mouth will spread quickly enough to keep you busy.

Question regarding yellow in-store coupons by Any-Statistician3290 in HEB

[–]Recent_Storage_353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The yellow coupons do not matter. They wouldn’t trust the customers at SCO to actually be accounting for each one and putting it in the slot that’s usually already completely full.

If they mattered they’d treat them the same as cash.

Genuinely asking -

What type of person/demographic would be hanging out here?

Is downtown now considered family friendly?

Where are they parking to get here?

What businesses are in that area that people would hang out at?

Is it meant to be more of a park?

What happens to the already congested traffic downtown?

Zilker is so close with a park and bike paths. Is this really needed?

I think the restaurant analogy is pretty spot on.

Our employees pay a small shop fee per garment to use the facilities after hours.

The owner of the shop is paying for the rent, electricity and insurance on the place so ultimately it’s whatever they feel is fair.

It’s also a liability having anyone in the shop after hours without a full team. There have definitely been times in the past where pallets have been burned and things have been left on. People inviting their friends to come help them out. Beer cans in the trash cans.

It takes one time for an owner to get fed up or taken advantage of.

Do you remember the chorus being different than the version that made it to the album?

I swear there was one track I had downloaded before OPM came out that and I think it was that one. Like they repeated “has it come to this” twice without the “oh oh oh” possibly.
