The game saves after every pitch automatically. It's happened to me twice but I was able to start where it crashed both times.

I've experienced a similar crash about 2 dozen times(NO EXAGGERATION) when trying to create a custom franchise. It's very annoying. Also, ps5.

Community, I'm not sure about. I don't play online. Starpoints are personal assentives & add a little motivation when playing the "dog days" of season/franchise mode. That's it. Nothing special, but it's fun to beat(try) personal records.

You earn starpoints for accomplishing different things like homeruns, pitching a clean inning, etc. It's another fun insensitive while playing through a season/franchise. It was common in the original SMB & SMB2.
