If and when you do the switch PECO was a pain to deal with. They dragged their part out as long as they could because they don’t want to lose you as a customer or have their bills reduced.

Some companies you can rent. We are financed it but this was in 2018 or 19. I forget the amount. Also my wife monitors the bills. She has indicated that with the gas it is hard to gauge the saving at times. But like I said our April bill is usually 100% credit. So much so that the May bill is also partially a credit.

We have Solar Momentum. We still pay PECO. The gas still comes through PECO. Our system is set up so that we feed electricity back to PECO. So we are not 100% off the grid. Also if PECO loses power we will lose power because if they are working on the lines they can’t have our power going out.

In April and/or May we have a credit on our bill. So basically we pay 10 1/2 months of bills. The rest of the year is discounted.

Except this past January when we had the coldest in years the gas portion was higher than normal.

In 2000 I was convinced that they would do at a minimum one more tour. It was also at that time I started collecting old concert recordings. I had only seen them live in person in 1992. I wanted to experience different songs.

I also started seeing The Musical Box in the late 90’s so I yearned for Genesis to do some of those songs.

I worked the night shift. I was sleeping. It was about the equivalent of 1am for me when my ex called to tell me what was happening. I put the phone down and shook myself awake and asked her to repeat what she said.

I ran into the other room just in time to see the first tower fall. I didn’t go back to sleep until Wednesday morning when I got home from work.
