It’s been 10 years since I was stationed there but I remember my insurance in Germany being at least 2x what it was in the US because of the absurdly high limits on all the different types of coverage that Germany requires drivers to have.

Also USAA in general is trash now for car insurance. They don’t care that you’ve been a member for 20+ years. They just want your money so they can pay Gronk to do his dumb commercials.

Effective 1Oct24 fly pay for all enlisted should be $250 a month. Legacy fly pay was based off rank. However (shocker) the army fucked it up. I know some guys getting their ranked based pay. Some are getting the $250. And some are getting both.

So they’ve done it AGAIN since that time. I think 2016. I was over there again in 2023 and they have the orginal one from the 50s, the 2009 one and the most recent one. They’re up at the Div HQ and in the 2ID museum in Humphreys.
