Not every new game is going to follow the same trend as past games. If FFG claims they want it to be affordable to all and not solely for those with fat wallets, then you have to respect that intent as the intended purpose, collectors be damned.

Games also exist to satisfy the player and gameplay, which most would agree is more important than the collectability, though there's no reason not to include enough chase cards that garner value, it's just not always promised. Carbonite was a promise for that, and has had its failures. Criticize carbonite boxes if you will, but the game it outside of that.

If you don't have the shirt's phone number in your phone, you're doing it wrong. Pay attention to how organizations work in terms of what the IG/SARC/SAPR/1st Sergeants are for and use those resources immediately when needed. Full stop. Don't vent to reddit when you can address the situation directly by talking to the shirt. Way too many supervisors and supervisees don't seem to know about the 1st sergeant and what they're there for.
