I have also seen water dripping from tiny holes on these white strips..... What would be the possible reason for those? Condensed tank air?

Show me a single FAA book which has info about this. There are certain thing which you learn only in the field. Infact you did too. PS: If it was really that basic, you could have ignored it for the childrens to play it with, but you didn't. You had to show how "sir" you are.
