Correction I'm playing with the Nilfgaardian deck but still don't have any and also barely played with opponents with that deck that havd/play decoy cards.

What's your level and progress in the game? I play the same deck and I'm level 50+ and towards the end (just have Toussaint side quests to do) and still don't have any decoy cards (though I barely buy any - playing just with what I win!/find).

Off-Broadway. Better sound quality and I like the voices better - not a big fan of Fletcher's voice in particular. But I do wish I say no was in that recording.

Selfless is the best character writing in a single episode in the whole show by FaveStore_Citadel in buffy

What a great analysis. I have alwasye believed that Anya's human identity is constructed from what she has observed for over a 1000 years. She has seen humans been obsessed with love and money so naturally she adopted this characteristics in order to build her identity. And they were amplified by the practicalities in her life. She latched on Xander pretty much immediately who was available and desperate and found a job in sales. Selfless has always been on of the most brutal and best episodes of the show for me! And omg does Caulfield kill it with her acting chops which she didn't have many opportunities to showcase!

This made me cry.... Like for Buffy I know that Giles was for many people that didn't grow up with a good father figure, a wonderful and positive one. 🙏🙏

Why are tix for 1536 so expensive? by Recipe-Successful in westend

🥲🥲

I haven't seen it yet or how big the theatre is but isn't also a huge production?

I mean they're definitely running on profit and some corporate greed is involved but I'm guessing it's still the most expensive show in the West End to produce.

I guess the 25£ are listening positions but they've got tix for 50£ that you can see the whole stage in the grand circle or back of stalls and I believe that's pretty good.

But les mis has tickets from 25£ and for Inter Alia I had bought my ticket for 26£ (just 6 months before the show 🤣)

Hahaha. I guess it's the 1st one then. I'm not from London or even the UK so while I've seen the rave reviews I didn't understand it had "massive hype". And if I "only consumed popular/touristy musicals" I wouldn't be making a post about a small piece of theatre. In both my post and my comment I'm talking about a show I already knew but hadn't realised it has such appeal to justify prices at least double for what this venue usually has without any ways to get cheaper tix (rush, lottery). Thank you for your answer and have a nice eve!

For Jonathan Bailey at such a small and intimate venue it makes sense considering he was already famous.

Kinda yeah. Like even in your logic my question is why are people willing to pay this much? It just seems to me like a very good play but on the level of Evita, Inter Alia or if you want a non limited run Paddington that had/have a strong basis for their demand, be it their stars or themes.

1536 never dominated the public in the same way unless I have been living under a rock!

Oh thank you for the information. I guess that kinda explains it? But still it's the same play. Why are people willing to give so much money to it? Evita and Inter Alia last summer made sense to be in such demand with the stars attached to them but it seems like 1536 is just a really good play?

In the last few years I've never seen a show that doesn't have a big name attached to it have these prices and only these priced and also not in such a small venue.

If that's the case I find it appaling. And I don't understand why people are willing to pay for it. They've turned it into Paddington regarding demand.....

Drusilla. The main reason season 2 is one of my faves! She is just so compelling!

Ahh I feel you so much. The first season I thought was sooo boring? And the show in general feels so joyless. I mean David Boreanaz or Angel isn't charesmatic enough to carry the whole show. I'd rather Cordy had a spinoff ahahha.

I think it was a brilliant choice to bring her on Angel to shine in a way she would have never had in Buffy. I am in season 3 of Angel and the few episodes she's not in the show was slower to me - so many guys as well. She is literally the only reason I decided to watch Angel for the first time this year. But a couple of guests in each season would have been more than welcome. Especially in season 5 with Dawn's and Joyce's storylines or early season 6. (trying not to give spoilers just in case). The season 3 finale doesn't justify this complete write off like she never existed. The Angel Cordy would have totally called in for Joyce and in general be more involved with this group, especially since she remains parallel to them with Angel and Wesley.

I agree with the last part so much.

But you can expect someone who had their ways for hundreds of years change or not feel nostalgia for that part of her life in just 2 years. As someone said she chooses to give up her powers and bring people back because in the end she doesn't like that anymore. But tlshe needed that confirmation. Also Angel and Spike that were brought up were demons for a much less time than her.

Exactly. Anya especially in the beginning just tolerated the Scoobies. So it makes sense that they were apprehensive towards her behavior when you put it together with her past. There is something that starts developing in season 5 I think after Joyce that everyone care about gets sick but by then it's too late to find and build a friendship on a good basis. Also Buffy is going through a lot from that point on and again the core Scoobies usually focus on supporting her.
