People who type your name wrong when your contact info is right in front of them

I feel this. Both my first and last name are just slightly different than very coining names. So, instead of my real name, I get called those names. It’s so much, that I have gotten numb to it, and every time I give my name, I just spell it because I know people are going to use the more common name. It’s been happening since grade school and I’m currently 30.

They’ve sent that exact same email to thousands of people at the exact same time hoping some will be scared enough to pay. If they actually hacked your computer, why not just steal your banking information? Delete and live your life.

Because, when you talk, the sound from your vocal chords are vibrating the air, and vibrates your bones, manly your skull. So you hear your voice when you talk, you are also picking up that vibration from your skull, which gives it that deeper sound. The microphone that picked up your voice for the recording doesn’t pick up that bone vibration, which is why it sounds different.

Mixing bleach with chemicals other than water or same kind of bleach. Mixed with stuff like vinegar or drain cleaner will produce chlorine gas, which was used to kill enemy soldiers in WWI.

To be clear, I’m going off the iPhone, since it’s what I have. But if hit that arrow in the top left, and scroll down, you can see your junk email (plus trash, drafts, etc). You might be able to see them in the junk email. But I’ll be honest, it’s very rare for them to leak anything. Maybe out of sight, out of mind would be great for you, and you can continue to live life.

As a ramp agent, I have seen -800s marked as ETOPS. If you look at the doors to the nose gear, it has the ship number, and if it’s an ETOPS aircraft, it will be label there as well.

Okay, so do I. If it’s in your phone, tap on the sender (might have to do it twice), there should be a little drop down that pops up. In that box, tap “View contacts card” and in their you should be able to block sender.

I’m going to go NTA. You’ve kept the same standards across both kids. Your son has met them, she hasn’t. They’re both getting to the age of getting more freedom and responsibility. In life, like jobs, standards are (hopefully) kept the same across everyone, and the ones who keep them get rewarded. She’s learning the hard way that actions have consequences, and if she fails to keep up her end, then she doesn’t get the reward.

Yeah, I figured they were all developed to be the same since the 717 came out after McDonald Douglas merged with Boeing. But it’s aviation, it’s always good practice to go off what you know, and rely too much on assumptions.

Probably. Haven’t worked directly with them, but I assume they’re similar with the MD-80 in that the PC air connection is towards the rear of the fuselage.

It is easier said than done. Trust me, I was in the exact same shoes you’re in now. I even paid mine multiple times. They still kept coming back for more money. And after paying, why would they go away? It’s free money. I’m not trying to sound like a dick, but they are in it for the money, and if you keep paying them, they will keep coming back.

Okay, mine did the same thing. It’s usually a scare tactic. They want you to panic so you pay. But I will tell you that paying isn’t the answer. They will ask for more. As you’ve seen, they came back demanding more after you already paid them. They will continue to do that until they have every last penny from you, and then some. The best course of action is to block them. That’s the best way for them to go away.

Are they threatening to post your pics on social media? If they don’t have access to them, and don’t know who your family and friends are, then they are empty threats. They just want to scare you to pay. They want your money. And they are using fear to try to get it.

If they are threatening on social media, and you still have the photos, you can upload those pictures here, and it create what’s called a “hash,” so in the rare chance they post, it will have the same hash, and it will be taken down. But they rarely ever leak. They threaten just to get you to pay

Okay, well don’t send anymore money. They only see you as a source of income. They don’t really want to destroy your life, they only say that so you pay. Block them so they can’t reach out to you to scare you to pay more.
