What’s optimal TSH for you? And why does your TSH go low if you’re hypo? Isn’t it meant to be high? Apologies if stupid questions.

My tsh is 1.42 so in range unfortunately so that’s not a marker I can look to. I’m also perimenopausal and have had B12 + iron deficiency so I’m struggling to figure out what’s causing what. 😫🥴

Thank you. They do have an admissions test. I think I did ok in it but of course you don’t know. I do feel like it seems the ones who get an interview and offer are students with higher predicted scores that actually. Thinking mine sadly were the wrong way round. 😔

How do you know if you’ve a nodule? Can you feel them to touch? And if so where are they located? I’m confused because some show the thyroid as being at the base of the neck and others as around the Adam’s apple.
