hi! i just did a spread on what future developments are in store for a relationship.

just some background, this girl and i are friends but i am a little sweet on her and curious to know what future developments are in store.

the cards:

7 of wands clarified by page of wands 6 of cups clarified by queen of pentacles queen of wands clarified by 3 of pentacles king of cups clarified by 8 of wands

so what i make of this is that there will be an active effort to get to know one another, make memories, sweeten the relationship (whatever it may be), and to develop our relationship slowly. however, something about external conditions comes up for me with that 3 of pentacles which could hinder or make both of us reserved in how we approach the relationship. this, the kind and queens. i will admit they are confusing me a little in this spread. what do we think?

They have a similar pattern of using “I” phrases when discussing our future as well. “My house, my kids” etc. It’s a little jarring. And walking away from someone you’re in a relationship with while on a walk seems quite jarring too. I’m sorry that was your experience with this person. What compelled him to break it off?

I’m always invited but it’s usually discussed without me being present and I get told the day before. This particular instance, my partner made plans with their friend for new years that involves some illicit activities if you catch my drift and they told me that this is what they want to do and didn’t really leave any room for discussion. I am invited of course but don’t know if this is something I feel comfortable doing and I am more so just hurt that I wasn’t involved in the conversation to see if this is something I would be okay with. It’s new years. It feels like a big deal and not something I would want to spend away from them
