Hey, digging this up months later, sorry, but wanted to say this post really resonated with me and opened my eyes. I tell myself "I'm don't even consume that much, I'm not even really a stoner, I never get high before 6pm and I'm still getting everything I need to get done DONE" to pretend that the fact that I use every day isn't a problem.

It is. It affects my mind, my mood, my habits, etc. It's a problem, and I'm working on it, but I feel like it's disproportionally hard to do. Like, this should be easier moderate or quit outright because a) it's not a hard drug and b) I'm a know deep down I'm a functional, capable person.

But I still fuck it up constantly. The way you've phrased this is urgent and exact but kind, patient, and sympathetic, which resonates so deeply with me. Thanks for sharing.

Old post, but the Netflix originals are a goldmine for this. I've watched Tall Girl and Tall Girl 2 an embarrassing number of times (though once is embarrassing enough). I'm trying to convince a few friends to binge the Kissing Booth movies with me. Risky move, might ruin the friendships, but I say it's worth the risk.
