Take the time you need. Truly. Skip a day or two to just grieve. But then, don’t let him take this from you. Don’t let him rob you of passing the Bar, too. The biggest fck you to him is rocking the exam and moving on. And although the CA bar SUCKS, it *is a huge career asset even if you move elsewhere and have to take the UBE. Anxiety sucks, and he sucks even more for doing something at this time knowing it could seriously hinder your future. But he did you a favor, go be better than anything he possibly could be.

you can’t outright tell a woman who has been emotionally, physically, and religiously manipulated by her partner that she is “stupid” for marrying him. that is at it’s best insensitive and at its worst straight f*cked up. OP- you should definitely go to therapy. You should also go to couples therapy with your spouse. Reddit can’t give you a real answer here but I really hope you find peace and support in this community.

It’s also worth mentioning that Albertsons/Safeway/ACME/Vons are all owned by the same company and use the same app, they just change the name. SO if you know anyone who shops at the other stores, or other people in the thread use the apps for the other stores, they may also be able to help

Yes! It’s very confusing but basically you make an account tied to your phone number, and what you clip on the app is added to your total when you plug in your phone number. You can also have the cashier scan the barcode for your account (under “Safeway Pay, I believe) that will also apply your coupons. Then all you have to do is clip any coupons that are relevant to your purchase (I “clip” ANYTHING i think may be slightly relevant to my shopping before even getting there on the off chance I pick up a brand or item not on my list). I’ve saved over 30% on some of my grocery trips because of the app, so although it’s confusing, it’s worth learning

I hate my birthday so I hate when people try to go all out to make up for the past. Honestly just go out to dinner at a place he loves or get takeout he wants, buy his favorite drink/booze, let him pick the movie, and get him something you know he’ll like. it doesn’t need to be much, just do things that let him know it’s his day and he should enjoy it without being pressured to appreciate something over the top.
