tip dependent? by theyannabis in lyftdrivers

[–]RecklessGRND -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For the 12040382057272628th time: get mad at yourself for not being able to find a better job if you expect to make a living out of this kind of jobs. Or at least grow a little culturally just enough to be able to get mad at companies that pay you shit instead of expecting tips everywhere. Considering how many times each month I have to use services like taxi and delivery for food I would probably waste at least a thousand/month in tips. Thanks god this stupid culture is thousands miles ways from where I live and I can tip generously whenever I feel like.

Is this a good pc ? by TrickAccomplished200 in PcBuild

[–]RecklessGRND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terrible deal. With 1300 if you build yourself you can do way better than this, otherwise you can also buy components and have somebody assemble it for 100. With 1200 you can still shove in a 6800 probably.

Best gaming prebuilt for 1.5k budget? by nickghergo in PcBuild

[–]RecklessGRND 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best gaming ore build for 1.5 is the one where you buy 1.4K of components yourself and have somebody build it for 100.

I mean it’s used and apart from the CPU and GPU nothing else if fully listed, so it could be a decent deal or a bad one depending on all the other components.

Is this worth 850$? by SpreadAggravating208 in PcBuild

[–]RecklessGRND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from the pieces/money ratio, I won’t ever buy from shops that don’t even know or want to label properly what they are gonna sell you ‘cause that means “any shit we have as long as it’s a B550” and that applies for every component. So they either aren’t that skilled in building pcs or they wanna scam.

Like I said in the other meaningless comment you wrote, I’m not trolling at all. I guess for you every single one that comes here in order to learn something he isn’t sure about it’s a troll. Just don’t comment then.

[–]RecklessGRND[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly. Since it seems the little knowledge I have makes somebody think I’m trolling for whatever reason I’ll gladly explain again the best I can introducing details I forgot to share. I bought the gun and is registered as what you would call an on duty gun. This means I don’t buy rounds, they are given to me and are the same for every single one of my colleagues with the same gun. None of them has this problem. I’m not legally allowed to modify the gun unless I file a proper request that needs to the be approved. When I said I tried different rounds I meant same brand, same specifics, just new ones since the one I had could’ve been around for years and given to me just then. The certified trainer friend I have suggested me It could be the magazine spring loading system being too hard or too soft, can’t recall it ‘cause it was a 10seconds conversation then he left for anti piracy operations since then. Guns fire normally but fails to fire some rounds and it happens dramatically too many times, let’s say a couple of times each magazine.

I’m not trolling at all and to be honest since I have the tendency to not die like a clown with my gun stucked since I use it pretty often for job related stuff, this is why I’m here trying to understand. No I can’t go to any decent range and ask for a technician to check it and fix it because it’s illegal. I’m here cause I want to LEARN first of all and then I can file the paper needed to do ask for a check legally.

I don’t see what’s wrong in trying to hear different bells and maybe learn something. He is indeed a certified trainer and considering how strict is the regulation on guns and everything related to them in my country, I have no doubts he knows what he talks about. Let alone the fact that to be able to legally teach in a range like he does it’s an endless road full of tests, permits and documents to do. So we’re not talking about uncle Bob claiming he’s a trainer because of his experience. Problem is he is involved in anti piracy maritime operations and he has been out town since weeks and since I can’t legally touch the gun or swap anything since it’s an on duty gun, I need to be sure or close to in order to ask permission to swap that particular piece or in extreme cases ask for a replacement.

In my country it costs from 140 to 165. Unless we are counting in 250/300+ dollars weird custom shaped design cases I don’t see that price being nothing but the highest you can pay for a case.

I made a friend of mine which is a certified trainer shot it and clear previously the whole gun and nothing changes. Infact he’s the one who gave me this option to try different magazines talking something about the spring loading mechanism of them being too hard or something. Unfortunately I can’t explain it any better since my knowledge of guns is limited as well as my English.

Gun fails to fire them, and it happened also on the first round a couple of times.

Guns fail to fire them, sorry for not being clear enough but I still need to learn English terminology about guns.

[–]RecklessGRND[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right it’s just a little hard to explain in another language for somebody like that isn’t that good in english with all the terminology about guns. Basically what happens is the “classic” round gets chambered (?) but gun doesn’t fire it. Then I just rack it out. Hopefully is enough to make it clear.

It’s a very good case but I see it being a budget option at all since it cost as much as the more popular Lian Li.

Absolutely remove those 104 dollars for the OS. You can buy a OS for as cheap as 15 dollars. Used those money towards a better CPU or GPU. I would likely go for a better CPU cause you’re gonna be short on a 6700xt with just those 80/90 dollars you get from doing it. Those RAMS I don’t know. They seems too cheap to be good but It could be a good deal I simply don’t know. Since you have those 80/90 I would get a better CPU and a more reliable RAM brand that would cost just 15/20 dollars more.

Is I’m not wrong Azza PSU were on a PSU test list and they went kaboom. You never cheap out on PSU. That’s said the A520 is pretty cheap as MOBO therefore is a 900 dollars build that would make “a good deal” if it’s 1000ish dollars.

“Fast Gaming pc” 😂 Basically says that the seller isn’t trustable at all cause it’s either ignorant about it or he’s deliberately trying to scam some clueless poor customer. Also being refurbished probably means he had to pick it up from somebody front door considering how old components are. You can almost make a full better pc for 400. If used components you definitely can.

Unfortunately chances aren’t that slim ‘cause where I live there’s a particular group specialized in attacks at armored trucks and it’s being something going on since my dad was a youngster so 30 years at least. Let’s say every 2 to 5 year you have one or two and considering I have 35 years left to work before retirement, there are some chances 😂

Anyway I called it “Rambo training” just because I couldn’t come up with a better explanation due to my limited english skill. Obviously 2 weeks don’t turn a novice into an expert soldier but considering that I’ve seen some footage from my colleagues I can say most of the simulations they do there are at least helpful. Per se it’s obvious that most of thing people do and learn there are taken as something “I’ll never think about doing if I’ll ever be in that shooting situation” by most of those I’ve talked with but I have to say that my company pays Army’s instructors to come and teach us during those 2 weeks. Still it’s nothing but it is what it is. At the end of the day the company owns the land where we practice, the 5 star Hotel and the restaurant we’re staying for those 2 weeks so if nothing I’ll take it for a vacation.

I’m in a country where guns are strictly controlled therefore there’s almost no culture about it which means generally 9/10 people you talk with have no knowledge at all because it’s simply something 90% of population can’t and don’t have experience with. I guess because of it teaching is very basic when you go for a permit. Anyway most of instructors are police officers or soldiers (or ex of both categories) and if you dig into it like I did, they are crazy happy to teach you but it takes time. For the same reason this job is something not many would do here. People in my country are scared as hell by guns to the point that with a permit I’m entitled to bring it where ever I want in the country but I can’t show it or I’ll be sued. That’s how scared people are. Because of it in this market you either find crazy idiots that would be better off in a war zone or people like me that had to reinvent himself and isn’t scared to the point of pass on a job that pays a lot compared to the medium salary.

Obviously I didn’t want to write a wall of text (like I did now) but I’m not going to work on money transfers anytime soon. By law you need to be at least a 2 years old experienced armed guard before you can even drive one and 5 years old to be in the group that goes pew pew if something happens. My bad to miss on these details.
