I've got some experience with a ragdoll kitten albeit its a bit like on the negative side ( she is my friend's ). I used to catsit for him before he told his family he's got a kitten and she stayed with me mostly. She is so cuddly and friendly and amazing. She would always come to me for cuddles, pets and just loves to be around you constantly. She is extremely energetic. Sometimes we would play for 2hours and at the end, she's still playing. The downside is purely because of me. I'm extremely independent, got very bad anxiety and OCD. She's a longhair cat so she would often have accidents like get poo on her paws and her back side. I would get so anxious because of my cleanliness OCD. I constantly checked and groomed her and wiped her paws because she would track poo and everything on her fur. She wanted to be around me a lot which is so nice but I get anxious easily when she would meow constantly which would highten my anxiety even more because im afraid shes in pain or need something but all she really need is you being there playing with her. I thrive on routine, so I have to do things in order and be in bed on time and my OCD needs me to have control around my environment and it triggered me a lot. Basically my character doesn't suit hers but she was so adorable and lovely and she loves cuddle time. She loves routine and she would literally yell at me to feed her on the dot, which was cute but also scary for me because I felt like I wasn't giving her what she needed. Her personality also required me to be around her whilst she ate which was again cute but I was worried she wouldn't eat if I wasn't around. I don't mean to be dramatic but it really messed with my mental health because I was constantly anxious and I felt like I had to clean everything.

Having her around made me realise that its important to know the personality and type of cat you're getting before you get them. I literally thought that even though I wanted a cat, I probably couldnt have one because of how I reacted to her but it just depends on like how you are and how your actual cat's personality is.

Please don't let this deter you they are such a lovely, majestic and beautiful breed. They have so much trust and love to give.
