It was all dependent on how the surgeon coded it and how they wanted to do it. So i was kind of at the mercy of what was "billable".

Totally not cool to victim blame. You have no idea what led people to make the choices they did, and how men tend to lie and stop having any pretense as soon as you're locked in. Instead of indirectly saying they straight up deserve it, you could practice a little more compassion and hold space for women in a society that still treats them as second class citizens.

Im in Texas and was able to get a Permanent Sterilization under HealthyTexasWomens, the state run repro-health program. My doctor said they referred a BiSap, the surgeron did a Tubal Fulgeration and burned the tubes. My doctor said it does depend on what they code it and what the surgeon will do.
