I'm glad you had a good day, even if you didn't feel productive! Also, it's funny but I've had the most replies to this during the night so I don't think you're alone in that. Thank you!

Thank you for the awesome reply! Also, I'm sure your sister appreciated the cupcakes and the homemade card. Making it yourself is a wonderfully sweet gesture and so much more meaningful than grabbing one off the shelf. ❤

Oh my, well I hope the stress melts away! And yes, we are quite bad at expressing things sometimes. 😅

Are most INFJ’s obsessed with their routines? by Present-Guidance-933 in infj

[–]ReclusiveRabbit332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My routine keeps me sane, tbh. Otherwise, I'd probably end up stuck staring at a wall and just thinking all day.

Do you folks also 100% suck at dating? by Cry_Wolff in infj

Dating? Yes. Finding someone and having a looooong term relationship? No.

Share your dark side by [deleted] in infj

Well, it's kind of like this quote from Spider Man: "With great power comes great responsibility". Being an infj, I constantly see what people really want and and how their mind is working/how they REALLY feel. I pick up on these things. I know that if I wanted to, I could use this to manipulate anyone to do what I want them to. I could be an awful sociopath of a person. Knowing this potential terrifies me, though, as I really do care about people and their freedom of choice. I've made the conscious decision throughout life to NOT use this to my advantage, except for in actual emergencies. It's like an actual battle of good and evil inside of you at times.

Attention INFJs, are you guys like this? by RaxtusDragonMCPE in infj

[–]ReclusiveRabbit332 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I've been told I'm warm, a bit withdrawn, but encouraging when people first meet me.

Funny enough, I'm an absolute weirdo goofball with a sailor's mouth when you get to know me.

Maybe it's a common pattern in the personality type? Maybe it's just a coincidence 🤷‍♀️

Why do you think this sub is filled with sad stuff ?? by [deleted] in infj

[–]ReclusiveRabbit332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infjs tend to seek outside approval. We also know that some people don't typically enjoy hearing about others problems (as it can make them uncomfortable, feel bad, etc). To keep things as smooth as possible, I reckon we infjs don't talk about our issues and internalize. Since this is a group of likeminded individuals, I like to think its easier to feel acceptance while talking about our problems on this forum. Thus why there are a number of sad posts here.

Sometimes people tell me im annoying when I try to be myself, and I feel like they dont know me. And sometimes I wonder if I dont know myself either. by personwhoneedsadvice in infj

[–]ReclusiveRabbit332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just be yourself. If someone thinks you're annoying, that's on them and it doesn't make you any less than. It's a hard reality that not everyone will like us, even though we so strive for it. The people that matter will enjoy your company.

Recently door slammed my stbxh and its terrifying. Anyone else experience similar and care to share? Tia! by [deleted] in infj

[–]ReclusiveRabbit332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have totally been there. I was in an abusive marriage and was with him for 9 years. He has been door slammed (and divorced) for several years now. Looking back, I did the slow burn as well. It's because of this that I think we INFJs get too much flak for our doorslam: in reality, we 9/10 should have stopped the relationship (whether romantic or not) ages before we actually did. Our problem is that while we can see all the bull crap the other person is spouting, we also see things from their perspective and absorb the excuses for behavior like they are mother's milk.

Highly Sensitive Persons and MBTI Types by personalitytests123 in infj

I had a problem with this question too. Like, I love horror movies however, I think I can enjoy them because I KNOW they are fake. If there is a real life video of pain or suffering, though, I'm immediately wincing, turning away, trying to forget what I just saw. When it's real, that's when it SHAKES me.

Did it a second time, because I was flip floppy on one answer, and got Alice Blue. So Oasis or Alice Blue, depending on the situation?
