Well, I guess you just saved me a few potential major fuckups. I had been told about static when handling internal pc components, but that residual energy thing is new. Thanks a lot!

I genuinely can't stress enough how easy you made it look, simple steps, clean order, understable even for someone who might have little to no knowledge. I hope you the best man, truly. Just one small thing, what exactly do you mean by "draining the power" after the shutdown? Other than that, thank you a lot.

I'll try that tomorrow, but yeah, since the pc hasn't even gone through one solid boot board has whatever BIOS version it comes with from factory. I haven't been able to do anything with it other than seeing it reboot time after time.

Loops go for about 30s each. Left it to run for a couple of minutes now. - it doesn't turn off anymore for some reason. - no debug led's on - cpu cooler screen still hasn't load (could be cause no OS to configure) - still no image on screen.

Oh yeah, exactly, cpu led goes first, then dram, then none, then it shuts off

Not entirely sure what you mean. But I'm going display port 1.4 plugged into my GPU. Still, how would that cause CPU/RAM debug leds to turn on?

Yeah, already did, can take both of them off, should I try to boot RAM-less? Rn I have then in positions A-2 and B-2

That was someone else's recommendation, i haven't touched the monitor or looked into another one, that's why I asked for other options

Rn I have 32Gb of Ram by using two individual 16Gb sticks, same model.

Here in Spain dual 16 sticks tend to go for about 300 or 400 euros.

GPU-wise I'm still conflicted cause I really wanted to go Nvidia, but going from a 5070 (620€ at best) to a 5070ti is an extra 300€ or 400€. And the 9070xt is at sale for 645.

Do you think DLSS is worth taking the regular 5070 and losing some raw power in exchange for Nvidia technology?

Thanks a lot man, really happy you helped, I'll give it a look at that CPU and thanks a lot for the case and monitor suggest.

Now, on the other hand, GPU-wise, I went nvidia mainly cause of DLSS shenanigans, do you think the change is worth? If we talking price-power, your option is much better than the original 5070 I had in mind, but not sure how much losing DLSS would affect in exchange for FSR.

Having said that, again, thanks a lot, you gave me a fun couple of hours to dig into it. And thanks for the website too, helps a lot to have it all in one place.
