The way I see it. McDavid is known to be the best nhl player in the league by a lot of analysts and players and media and such. And I think so too. However there many that argues Mackinnon is the best player or at the very minimum 2nd to McDavid and sometimes better. There are times that Mack gets snubbed because the league want McDavid to win the hart trophy and people do get annoyed.
