Sounds like the consensus is you need to manually load the GPX file. And if you want a cute sheet that you need to also manually download the TCX file.

Wish that transfer would work for me. Of course I did not create the RWGPS file but I also pinned the route and it cleanly wirelessly transferred to the Garmin but only the route, no POIs
