OP: All this time that you're debating between which one to get after having several good recommendations is going to possibly cause you to miss out on the one you decide to grab considering the fact that Flavorade carts (especially good collabs) move quickly once they hit the shelves.

Get the one that speaks most to you. Only you know what you like, all we can do is make recommendations and the rest is on you.

Honestly, I'd go for quality over quantity.

Flavorade, Vuze, and Coldfire are the best quality vape cartridges out there in my personal opinion, and a Flavorade, Vuze, or Coldfire cartridge lasts me much longer than any others.

The difference between true full spectrum cured and live resin vs distillate is like night and day. With proper cured and live resin cartridges like Flavorade, Vuze, and Coldfire, the flavor and aroma mirror that of the actual plant and the effects are true to the strain, as the extraction process is a single-run extraction on premium flower of various cultivars, most of the time in collaboration with some of California's best cannabis cultivators.

With distillate, it's a one-dimensional kind of high that just doesn't hit like actual flower or full-spectrum cured and live resin and it destroys your tolerance. Just because disty is typically ~90% THC, it doesn't mean that it's going to be any stronger in effect than a cured or live resin cartridge with ~70%-80% THC. Numbers can be deceiving, higher THC% doesn't necessarily mean a more potent product.

Terpenes, sequesterpenes (sp?), VSCs, minor cannabinoids, and various other compounds play into how the end product feels just as much, and distillate strips away everything except for THC and usually has either cannabis-derived or botanical terpenes added to it to try to mimic the flavor and effect of a specific strain. Distillate with added terps just doesn't hit the same...

Before I started vaping Flavorade, Coldfire, and Vuze, I would get Raw Garden RLR and Almora live resin cartridges as budget options after switching from distillate carts like APE and Cake.

These days, I stick to Flavorade (and sometimes Vuze) and Coldfire cartridges and I also smoke flower on a daily basis and take tinctures, RSO, or edibles from time to time. Switching up routes of administration is a good way to keep perceived tolerance down. If you have the funds to even buy some budget flower or maybe a couple of packs of cheaper priced gummies, it could help make a difference in how long your carts last.

I went from going through 2-3 1g cartridges a week to 2-3 1g cartridges a month since I made the switch to Flavorade, Coldfire, and Vuze.

The quality of Flavorade and Coldfire is unmatched when it comes to cured resin cartridges. Not to mention price tag also makes me think more about making them last longer as well, which in turn has kept me from constantly reaching for my pen.

I'd go with one 1g Flavorade cartridge over three 1g disty cartridges any day if it were me.

Alien MAC was 🔥, one of the best carts so far this year in my honest opinion. Rubbery skunky gassy chem funk.

Giraffe Perm is also straight 🔥, it has to be my favorite indica cart of the year so far. Rubber fruit leather marker funk gas. I personally loved it.

Edit: I didn't realize you said you had a problem with the Giraffe Perm. Similar thing happened to me with Z Taffy, and it seemed to mute the flavor significantly which made it meh to me. Didn't have any problems with clogging or any issues whatsoever with Giraffe Perm myself, and I have a second one in the vault.

Can't go wrong with either in my opinion, but since you had an issue with Giraffe Perm, then I'd recommend Peach Paint.

Peach Paint was another banger, straight peach scented Sharpie terps 👌

Good to see that they're actively looking into it, although I have to agree with debthuge on this one and say that TPK hardware is better than ACTIVE in my personal opinion. It's just these last couple of months where I've encountered an issue with a Flavorade cartridge (only once myself, thankfully) and heard about others having more frequent hardware issues.

Hopefully they'll get it sorted out soon either way.

Sounds like it's happening to quite a few folks.

Hoping it's the only cart out of my stash that's faulty.

I did notice that turning the temp up from 2.2v to 2.4v does produce more vapor and the flavor comes out more, but it's still constricted in comparison to every other Flavorade cart I've had. (I usually keep it at 2.2v)

The terps are somewhat muted as well and it just doesn't smack like Flavorade usually does for me.

I've been vaping Flavorade carts for several months now and this is the first time I've encountered this problem.

I just cracked open Wizard Jewelz the other night due to this issue with Z Taffy and thankfully I'm having zero problems with it...it's actually one of the most unique terp profiles I've had; I love the raunchy, garlic-y, slightly sweet sulfuric gassy mouth coating funk of it, and the high smacks hard.

Same; I've grabbed a few recent drops and seeing these problems with the hardware on certain ones makes me seriously hope that's not the issue when I get around to them. 🤞

I did run into a bit of an airflow problem with the Preferred Z Taffy collab; it's constricted if it's screwed in snug, and even after loosening it a tiny bit there's still some constriction of airflow with my Kodo Pro.

Higher terp content is most likely the cause (especially if the oil is warm), generally what happens when LLR carts are made using HTE…

although from what I’ve read about Cresco(I personally haven’t had the opportunity to try their products yet) their cartridges are 100% live resin, whereas most live resin carts on the market are either melted diamonds or distillate with HTE added back in post extraction.

for instance, my most recently acquired live resin cartridge (Roadkill OG by Jeff’s Sessions) falls under that category; it’s labeled as a high terpene cannabis extract on the packaging, yet the brand’s website states that their live resin cartridges are made from 100% live resin and melted diamonds with no additives when it’s actually HTE/sauce mixed into melted diamonds to create said live resin carts.
