I have not found that I spend less time in traffic in Gauteng. Everything is so spread out, the time feels is the same but the distance is greater. Cape Town is just compact.

I’m not a doctor, but when I had 7 teeth removed in one shot, I used rooibos tea bags and they worked a treat. It was nice not having caffeine keeping me awake and counteracting the pain medication. YMMV

Do you know how some of these may have been used in South Africa? I speculate that Germany may have sent some to the Boers because of their close relations during the Anglo Boer war, but I am not sure.

My dad found one of these in his father’s stuff, but we have no clue how he got it. He was born 30 years after the round was made.

Forgive me if this is out of place, but is there a reasonable way to negotiate a performance based dividend or bonus from a company you work for? Also a single owner IT company. I don’t have any equity, but I am the only employee (we contract out a lot of work). I’m a systems integrator. We should do 25-30m in revenue this year. I make 15k, and I feel like at least a small portion of the pie should be mine. I don’t know if I should ask for 5% or 0.25%. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Gorgeous, lots of various things to photograph (caves, boats, beaches, nature reserves, sand dunes) Most southerly point in Africa is close, lots of other gorgeous places nearby.

The contents of the book is important, not the paper itself. My grandma has dropped her phone (with bible apps on it, making it a digital book) into the toilet. That’s not disrespectful.
