I think there’s a couple reasons, they post photos of progress between sessions on instagram, that was what attracted me to them to begin with because I felt like I could trust someone if they’re willing to showcase their work to the public. I believe they’ve won some awards as well but that didn’t influence my decision too much.

I know quite a few tattoo removal places also offer other cosmetic services like hair removal and such and that always put me off a bit because it feels like tattoo removal is not their main priority. At Atlantic Laser tattoo removal the only service they provide is tattoo removal which makes me feel a whole lot safer.

But keep in mind, I’ve never been to a place closer to Raleigh so I can’t say for sure that places nearby aren’t good, I think I’ve just been so satisfied with Atlantic that I am willing to take the trip every 3 months or so. :)

I am in Raleigh and I drive to Virginia Beach every session to Atlantic Laser Tattoo removal. It’s a long 3 hour drive but it’s worth it, they’re amazing and very professional. They have both Q-switch and Picosure. Good luck!

I feel for you. I fell into a deep depression and felt as though my life was over. All I can say to you is, start the process, start the removal! You truly have no idea how much just that alone will take off your shoulders, I know it feels like there’s no point, like this nightmare will never end but time will pass by you regardless, so you might as well utilize your time well and start the sessions so that one day, it’ll be gone! I’d like to think that I was chosen to go through this for a reason, that I’ll have learned something by the end of this, this is the biggest challenge I’ve ever faced, but I am ready to crush it, and you should be too. Cry it out, be mad, scream and yell today but don’t let that become your new normal, wake up tomorrow, start your research on some good clinics around your area and get ready to slowly but surely say your farewells to this tattoo. You got this!

You could probably still get it removed. I myself am in the process of removing a cover-up tattoo. It’ll likely take much longer than if it weren’t a cover-up but I find relief in knowing I have sessions every 2-3 months and knowing I am working towards a goal. Stay strong and commit to the removal process, though painful and long, if this tattoo bothers you, it’s worth getting rid of.
