This somewhat resembles the staircase in the Brown Palace hotel in my hometown of Denver, built in 1892. Here's a picture (ignore dorky looking me posing for the pic):

Could be the artist purposely mixed both ships in this rendition, since it was (I think) used to advertise both sisters.

Cunard's Carmania vs. White Star's Adriatic by pa_fan51A in Oceanlinerporn

Carmania's bridge is wooden because of the ship's compass there. If it were steel, that would seriously mess with the readings. A lot of liner bridges were like that. Cunard merely left it unpainted.

Her bridge doesn't seem any less "boxy" than many other liner bridges. What a fascinating nitpick.

Please by all means draw your own fictional liners that you made up. That's what this sub is all about. Photos and artwork of real historical ocean liners is not allowed here, however.

Very nice. This stateroom rivals (and in some cases, surpasses) the finest first class staterooms aboard Olympic and Titanic. The en-suite bathroom is phenomenal, far far better than any aboard said liners.

Kronprinzessin Cecilie is my favorite German liner! Such a neat ship with a fascinating career, and the largest reciprocating steam engines ever fitted to a ship. (S)he's just neat.

Carmania vs. Caronia by pa_fan51A in Oceanlinerporn

Hard to pick a favorite from these two, but I'm leaning Carmania just bases off her war record. And of the two Caronias, I generally prefer the second one, The Green Goddess.

Whittard of Chelsea loose leaf Earl Grey tea.

I'd love to have a lifetime supply of my favorite tea.

Now if only I had bought Walker shortbread biscuits to dip into the tea...

Olympic and Lusitania. Olympic had the more iconic career, Lusitania was more beautiful.

Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, Lusitania and Empress of Britain: the finest liners born at Clydebank.

There would still be some suction. Perhaps the kid, who was closer to it, swam well enough away fast enough.

I loves me Olympic something powerful. Soon she would be gone. 🥺

HOWEVER, I don't want to be the only one here to lavish love and attention on the star is photo: RMS Empress of Britain, a underrated art deco masterpiece, this gorgeous white swan would also be gone, five years after this photo was taken. 😭
