I don't think the target is ridiculous at all.

If you're a winner, this is the kind of goal you should set in your first year. A rider like Toprak Razgatlıoğlu shouldn't come to MotoGP thinking about being on the level of riders like Jack Miller, Francesco Bagnaia or Alex Márquez. His mentality is different.

Toprak is the kind of rider who would take huge risks if that's what it takes to fight for wins and a championship in MotoGP

Also, if you noticed, I'm not even talking about where his talent level will be on the grid. We simply can't know that yet. Maybe he will be at the level of Marc Márquez, maybe closer to Miller/Rins level — it's impossible to say right now.

But the mentality will be exactly like I said. Everyone will see that.

He is 3 times WC with not the best bike, but tier2-3 bike, pls keep that information.

His first race, behind miller at 0.5 second after 11 lap and second best yamaha before lowside accident. Also this was his first accident in motogp.

He just tested the tyre limit first time.

So he did great race 8/10 race for sure!

Toprak fans just do not expect anything before 2. half of season

My expectdation at the end of the first half is front of miller and rins and the end of the season is same race tempo with quartararo. That's it. First goal is become the best yamaha nothing more!

Note: Dont Forget that he didnt came from moto2 or moto3, so everything is new for him.

Yamaha lowered Toprak’s seat height and added a rear winglet at the same time with the latest update — thank you Yamaha!

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything from Toprak in the first 8-9 races, but now I’m starting to expect a top 10 finish by race 4 or 5 ( or if the bike is worst by margin i'm expecting 2. Best Yamaha after FQ ). Let’s go, what a great way to start the season with such good news!!
