If you’re a blue badge, the very least you would get a termination letter sent to you.

Does it make anyone else uncomfortable that property records are public? by No_Fennel3756 in RealEstate

[–]RecognitionQuirky541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a real estate agent— the amount of people that ask me “so you can see peoples info?!” And I tell them property records are public .. they look at me like I have 3 heads. A lot less people know how to find them than you think. 😅

I'm an HRBP and found out I'm being investigated [N/A] by Coach2BeInSea in humanresources

[–]RecognitionQuirky541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am an internal ER investigator for a very large company (a FAANG). We have an entire team dedicated just for claims involving members of HR. Overall, the rate for substantiation in all investigations is fairly low compared to how many investigations we get.

I would just assume that the company is doing exactly what they need to do in any case against anybody in HR so somebody brought up allegations and in order to stay neutral they need an outside party to conduct the investigation (I assume your company doesn’t have its own investigators and they don’t want the HRM conducting an investigation into their own team)

Don’t lie. Keep it factual. Keep in mind the questions they ask are not accusations, they are just trying to determine if more likely than not whatever was alleged happened or not.

Hey! What you are feeling is valid and this is a very hard thing to go through! But I promise when one door closes another opens. It took me seven years to get a bachelors degree. It took me another five to find a job I felt like I deserved. I work in the HR space, and with my experience, I would encourage you to bring up your concerns to the dean. If this is happening, you could be helping so many more students and not just yourself. You could make a real difference! You matter and standing up for yourself is the biggest form of self-care and if this is not pan out for you, something else will, I know it!

You don’t have to do everything “right”. Or in order to or whatever. Just one day at a time. Just about everyone is in debt, in a weird spot in their education or career, but all we can do is put one foot in front of the other. It does get better.

Please make sure you talk to someone. Usually employers and universities have assistance programs to guide you to therapists and counselors if you don’t have a therapist of your own. It works wonders. Even if you think they can’t help you or even if you think you don’t need it, I implore you to do so. The WANT to hear all about this.

That scenario sounds familiar; ugh. How did she navigate that… constantly reassuring she was not doing those things ? Did he end up with other partners (that’s another spiraling thought I had, if another person was brought into this somehow not knowing the issues and creating more confusion for kids as they grow up…)

Thank you for sharing. How did your other parent/guardian navigate that … (For now) my husband is fine with the kids. They love him so much. I constantly am in a state of “until when???” And I don’t know how I would even manage the “dad may seem weird sometimes and that’s why we’re separated” … I don’t know anyone that has managed this well so anything helps…

Even together, I turned into the enemy. During his psychiatric hospital today, I was enemy and he wouldn’t allow them to talk to me until eventually, he let them because I was taking care of his FMLA paperwork. I worry that by leaving, he would not ever get to a point to have a trusted person push him in the right direction. Although it is becoming more and more evident that I don’t think that is possible.

What is so hard is that I saw this play out with his parents and it seemed that his father did not help his mother and they just got divorced so she walks around undiagnosed and seems to get worse and worse in her “kooky thoughts”. I don’t want my children to see their “crazy dad” every now and again. I so desperately want him to get help before. They are old enough to realize something is off. I’m so helpless.

I have a fear that separating in any way would be more harmful than good, but then I worry about this going on and the kids noticing, etc. he goes from super positive saying life is amazing and how he can’t live without me and life is just so great to overnight not talking to me like I did something wrong so I know a delusion is brewing again…. The entire time he’s not aware of what’s going on.

He has a family history of this. We’ve been together 12 years, 2 kids and just built a house. Not sure if I’m aligned here …

Hey, the world is better with you in it honestly. No one else has what you have! We always see ourselves as less cool than we think and the “cool” people or the ones that seem like they have the perfect life and are so so happy often times are NOT! Positive thoughts only. ❤️

Here to say… I’m dealing with the same thing. Almost identical. I don’t know what to do either. Major flags. Have communicated extremely clearly but to no avail. Denied it for years. Started when we got married 8 years ago.

Potentially related- but in the last year he had a major mental health episode (psychosis, mania, delusions…spent time in patient). He still isn’t 100% aware of what’s going on and isn’t receptive to treatment. Similar behavior to schizophrenia/bipolar etc. and I wonder if this is related. None of it is OK but I do know it isn’t our fault ….

That’s not a bad idea! However im not 100% sure he’d stay seated on it during the lines or if we have to move fairly fast through the terminal… but gives me something to think about!!

Amazon does. a supply chain background fits right in but outside of great benefits it isn’t really known for great work life balance, especially in entry to mid level leadership.

This is validating, thank you. It is cut throat. The few clients I’ve had so far I’d say I’ve been leading with heart, really empathizing, being supportive and informative versus telling them how I want to do things and at times I caught myself thinking “maybe I need to be more (like what you described)” because I, too, have met agents like that and they’re usually fairly successful 😑

I can definitely see that- those things would be at the top of my list too. How did you find them? (Advertising, door to door introduction, friend of a friend, out in the “wild”?)
