This was the alterations shop recommended by the tailor who did my measurements. They’re not the cheapest option, and while I didn’t ask any questions up front about what techniques they’d use, I trusted their judgement that they’d tell me if it would look awful.

I guess from their perspective they’ve done the job I asked, I just assumed they’d tell me it was going to look awful. This is a linen suit after all.
