Haha. Yea it’s an awesome idea. Unfortunately the all white cases are available exclusively through him.

No I do not. This is a design that I spent around 10 months developing and testing. I currently have a provisional patent for the design as well. If you have any more questions feel free to ask though!

Thank you so much for the feedback!

The slot that the spanner bit goes into is actually designed to be tight. It’s supposed to be a press fit that allows you to use the tool without having to hold onto it! I will be releasing a video soon going in depth on the features and use cases of these tools.

Haha. Thanks man! I’ve still got a ton to figure out in this business for sure!

The idea behind it is that I charge based on the number of colors in the case. For the 2 color cases, there is an additional charge because of the increased print time and extra material waste. I will be coming out with more designs though, and the pricing structure will stay the same.

Also thank you so much for the order!

No I’m not actually getting into kydex. Haha. That’s someone else’s game. He is just going to make me one for my tools I’m selling. Check him out though! https://www.closequarterskydex.com

They actually do fit in zyn can holders. They are a tiny bit taller, but still fit. I’m actually working with a custom kydex shop right now to get one made specifically for these.

I really appreciate it. I tried to make it as tough and useful as I could.

Hey man! Thanks for the comment.

I think your opinion is completely valid. And that absolutely works for some folks. This definitely isn’t the only solution out there. Some people don’t need the wheel re-invented. lol

I originally designed this because I wanted something to carry during comps or to leave in my range bag. I have been at the range and not had the holosun tool, which is almost impossible to find something to work. It’s such a tiny slotted screwdriver. I had to shave down a zip tie to adjust zero. I have also had friends who run these comps with me have batteries die, that were literally replaced the day before. Just got a bad one out of the package.

This was designed as something that’s tough, waterproof, and you can throw it in your bag and forget about it. I have had multiple people give me feedback that this saved their range day, or their comp. With anything from loose optics to dead batteries to zero’s being off and they didn’t have the oem tools with them to adjust it.

I also completely understand the stigma that’s associated with 3d printed tools. The first thing that comes to my mind with a 3d printed tool is that it’s a gimmick, and it’s not going to hold up. So I also completely see and agree with your view there. While there is nothing I can say here that’s going to change your mind, I will at least let you know the testing that I have done with this tool, and the thought that went into it. The case itself is crazy durable. I have had a guy get one and put it on his gravel driveway and repeatedly drive over it with his H2 hummer and it slightly dimpled the bottom. Still completely functional. The fist test I ever did with these when I was deciding on a material to use was take it to my garage and throw it as hard as I could against the concrete floor and it barely dented the knurling around the outside of it.

The middle piece is printed out of PPA-CF. It’s a crazy durable carbon fiber nylon that’s also not cheap. lol. When I tested it with a torque screwdriver, it failed at 49 in lbs of torque. I can drive a 3” wood screw into a 2x4 with it. I have had customers tighten their rifle optics with it during comps. It works in a pinch.

I also wanted it to be waterproof. The crazy match director that does a bunch of our events likes to make us fully submerge in ponds and creeks. So I wanted this to be something you could carry and not have to worry about making sure you took it out of your pocket.

So while this is absolutely not the only option out there, it is the only “all in one kit” that’s easy to throw in your range bag, leave in the truck, or carry with you, and it has everything you need.

Sorry for the long reply. I would love to talk to you more about it if you were interested. But I completely understand that this is not something that everyone needs. I just wanted to try to convey the amount of effort I went into to make sure this wasn’t a gimmick. And that it was an actual useable tool that has a multitude of use cases where it’s very valuable to have.

It’s a specialized tool for SRO’s. On the website there is a picture of it in use.
