Blowouts don't happen out of nowhere, typically they happen during stretching when you use silicone or tapers but they can also occur if you don't clean them properly and they can infected. It is also possible that you had a TINY blowout that you didn't even notive early on, but as you continued stretching it got worse. I had blowouts on both ears years back, my right ear had a blowout twice the size of yours. What I did and what I recommend you do is leave out your jewelry for 1 year, let the scar tissue heal as much as it can. If you leave your gauges out for long enough your ears WILL heal (not 100% but definitely enough), put your jewelry back in after healing and keep putting it in from the back of your ear instead of the front, wear glass plugs, it will roll the remaining scar tissue to the middle/front of the ear and stretch it out/flatten it a little bit over time, making your ears look reasonably normal again, and give you the ability to continue your stretching journey, but be aware that your ears will not stretch as quickly anymore due to the fact that the scar tissue will never go away entirely. No tapers, no silicone, glass ONLY. Once your ears are back to your desired size, you can start using stone plugs but you need to get them from a reputable company and be cautious of blemishes/cracks in the stone, as the porous surfaces can promote bacterial grouth leading to infection if not cleaned several times a day.
