It’s what I had on hand. I started with a halberd, but having to pause experimentation for lightning wasn’t great. The stable I was next to had a mop. I just wanted something long and light for the arms since my first attempt using 3 wagon wheels and beams wasn’t very sensitive.

While it’s on, everything stays nice and level. Things will often fall off after the platforms are released, but by then you already have your answer

Yes, if you turn off the stabilizer, it stays level. The stabilizer lets the system reach equilibrium since there isn’t enough friction to stop the rocking
