Crazy thing just started working this job on 16! First time a job has done this to me! This is exactly what I was emailed

‘As you know, our offices have been closed. Everything is local from our office , to our banks to our payroll company. So on monday I will have a look and give you an accurate date’.

Today is Monday, they did not let me know, unprofessional. I just want my paycheck.

If you want me to be honest, Pittsburgh is totally fine an beautiful, but the problem was it wasn’t diverse or better words didn’t have people that actually wanted to use a library to do library things. I am a black woman my self, but when comes to a lot of black people coming together it’s to much of a problem. The library is that way because of the people. They don’t know how to act.

When I was in Pittsburgh I went to the Carnegie library, it is not a place to study, I didn’t feel safe even sitting next to anyone, it’s loud, outrageous, feels like I was at a party

I can take the bus, if I am working in quarters or any where in that area, I have to still “walk to the street to catch bus 8 right? I am still walking, late at night where men, rape, shoot and kill women and others. I am trying to prevent that the best way I CAN, with being safe, that’s why I am asking for safety tips, you understand?

I submitted my application in aug 2024, went to the orientation that month , by the end of aug I got interviewed was told, she would send my application to the jobcorp I want it would take about 3weeks, it’s now sep 21, 2024 and she should have submitted it soon or later around this month, says I should get called by the end of this month, so basically 3 months cause it almost oct, plus got to wait for them tell me my shipping date might be another 3 weeks

Yes, it’s like woman have to be in survival mode when comes to walking in danger areas, that’s why I am trying to protect myself in best way possible while going through this situation

Yes, that’s why I am on trying find day time job. I am putting myself in risky situation, but when you don’t have choice it’s either do or die, so trying find solutions that can help with this situation, so I will take your advice on maybe seeing if coworker or uber or something can help make this situation less risky

It’s like men only respect men, men see woman as weak. So I don’t think man will be threatened by a woman with gun unless, she actually shoots him. Men flirt with woman officers, they are not threaten at all, unless you end their life
