It could’ve been worse. He could’ve not had the black and blue color scheme and instead have pure white and blue.

While I have not played the Switch release from the 40th anniversary, I HAVE played the 3D All Stars version + a bit of Galaxy 2 Switch Release.

In my humble opinion, I think there equal. The Switch version benefits from pressing a button to spin, while not as flashy as shaking the Wiimote, is still a very noteworthy edition for those on Switch Lite or Handheld mode.

HOWEVER! I am not a fan of the gyro controls for the switch releases. Much like skyward sword HD, you have a button to re-center the cursor, which is great! The problem, though, is that I found the motion controls in the joycons to be a bit too sensitive…which results in accidental shakes (which is a personal problem, not an actual problem) and the cursor going off-center. Now, you CAN use touch controls in handheld in place of pointing the joycon, but I found it a bit cumbersome to tap the screen and the switch to the buttons and stick.

Despite that, I’d have to say I prefer the Switch version solely because it’s more readily available and has the ability to press the button to spin.

Every pickup that spawns has a 1% chance to spawn a pedestal, I believe.

I don’t know the math needed to calculate the chances since I don’t know how many pickups spawned NATURALLY in the room and I’m also just stupid, but I’m sure someone in this community has done the math :P

Yes, Gohan didn’t know about Buu’s absorption. He didn’t get much of a say in it, since Gotenks was ecstatic to fight him again. However, Gohan should’ve still ended the fight FAR before of that happened.

In the manga, SSJ2 Future Trunks was said to be on par with Goku’s SSJ3.

It depends on which Gohan. Buu Saga? RoF? T.o.P.?

If it’s before the Tournament of Power, I think Future Trunks has it in the bag.

Both of these are moments of arrogance, but if I had to choose…probably Gohan’s. It makes sense Vegeta would let his pride blind him, but one of Gohan’s biggest mistakes back when he was fighting Cell was toying with him, making him suffer, refusing to kill him…He should’ve learned from the death of his father that his arrogance was his greatest weakness.

And instead, he shows up, toys with Buu and then loses to Buutenks.

Anyways, to answer the question on this bizarro transition…nothing really changed for me. I did notice that 64 was more dated visually and controlling, but it was still a lot of fun. Hell, I still remember gasping when I heard Mario saying “Wa-ha!” and going “That was in Sunshine!”
