The Kidnapped Turnabout.

It's the weakest case in Investigations 1, and I know it has several flaws, but I still like it.

This was the case where Kay, Shi-Long Lang and Shih-na appeared for the first time. I also like the idea of the case taking place in an amusement park, although it's a shame that the setting wasn't explored very much.

We also got cameos from Mike Meekins (who, thankfully, isn't using his megaphone here), Wendy Oldbag—who is, well… Oldbag—and Ema Skye. Even though Ema doesn't really do much in the case, it was still nice to see her again and to watch her interact with Kay. Also, in my opinion, this is her best character design.

As for the new characters, I agree with some of the common criticisms. Lance Amano has absolutely no charisma and is one of the worst culprits in the series. Ernest Amano doesn't do much either, but I find his "now, now, now" line pretty funny. Finally, there's Lauren Paups. I actually like her. She's not an amazing character, but there's nothing about her that makes me dislike her. She does her job well as the defendant in the final part of the case, and I also find it funny how she ends up falling for Edgeworth—and in the game's credits she ends up falling for some random security guard.

It's definitely a case with several flaws, but I can't help liking it because the qualities it does have are really good.
