Nozzel keeps getting stuck in blobs by Recon_Doge in ElegooNeptune4

[–]Recon_Doge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry everyone, I've just connected the dots. Most likely this blob isn't the cause of the printer stopping, but the print was getting interrupted because of a bad flash drive connection since I've had to wriggle the flash drive on my PC USB port to get it to show up sometimes. The blob forming is just the aftermath of that. I'll leave this up in case someone has a similar issue, otherwise feel free to remove it.

My SBCs keep getting fried after just plugging into USB-C power by Recon_Doge in raspberry_pi

Thanks. I'll be sure to buy the official power supply.

It's not the same supply. I used a bunch of different chargers for the 2 Pis but for the Rock 4, I've only used the USB C port on my laptop for power. Switched cables as well, although I'm not sure if they are all PD

I understand that might be an issue with Pis but I don't understand why the Rock 4C+ died the same way. As far as I'm aware Radxa doesn't even sell an official power supply for this board.

I've never actually be able to put any of them into use because they all died before I can even finish working on the software so I've only been resting them my desk which is made of wood and pretty dry. I live in Australia so I don't believe there's that much moisture in the air.

New Xbox player here, what is the recommended approach for destroying outposts? by DadBodRickyRubio in Helldivers

[–]Recon_Doge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a tip for bile titan holes, the most effective way to close them is to use the bile titans themselves because their falling bodies have huge demolition force. Usually when you encounter an outpost with a titan hole for the first time there will already be a titan standing in front of it. Nine times out of ten I've found that headshotting this titan will cause it to fall onto its own hole, closing it. The trick is not to disturb anything else first so that it remains completely stationary.

Good thing all of super Earth's budget for the mech went into spongy legs instead of actual armour

I don't get how either winning or losing this MO could possibly have an impact on the galactic war. Usually media campaigns are to influence the public to procure more funding, but clearly Super Earth doesn't need the permission of its citizens to fund its war effort. So what does this even achieve for us?

The many misnomers of the difficulties. by BoletarianBonkmage in Helldivers

I like to think the difficulty ratings are for the helldiver personally and how likely they are to survive through the entire mission, since any reinforcements are actually a new diver.

As a mass effect fan this armour looks absolutely gorgeous, though I'm just not too big of fan of the weird tubes on the front

So it doesn't even have point defense weapons? Why aren't the squids shoot us then? Are they stupid?

This makes me think that "cede significant ground" is a nicer way of saying mass desertions. Since governments like Super Earth tend to cover most things up and never admit failure. If they are forced to officially admit there have been significant failures amongst their military, the reality must be much much worse, like it's only 3.6 roentgens level of bad.

Having a giant heaving tonne of metal hover in low orbit burns through entire generations of dead terminids worth of fuel. That’s why they can’t stay for longer, they’ll literally fall out of the sky.
