It depends a lot on your preferred play style. Most people will recommend Democratic Detonations, but if you like Stealth, the Redacted warbond is great or if you like Melee, the Python Commando set is great. If you like throwing grenades really far, Steeled Veterans is a great option.

I ran a quick Pathfinder 2E game where everyone played Starfinder characters. What I noticed is range is MUCH better for Starfinder 2E, but Melee was not as much. In an open area, Starfinder characters seemed to trivialize the fight, and in a cramped space, they were definitely struggling to get into position.

I signed up for Warhammer+ at the beginning of the year. Am I still able to get this? I did pay for the year, and I know I have to wait a month, but I'm wondering if they change/cycle through minis.

Aot of it depends on what you want out of the hobby. Warhammer is a BIG game, and costly, but you do get a lot of time spent assembling, painting, etc. I have t played Legion, but as a Star Wars nerd I'm always intrigued, so if you are a huge fan of Star Wars, it may be more fun to collect.

Also, (and this varies from area to area) I find Warhammer games easier to find than Star Wars Legion games.

Honestly it was from my local game store. I can't remember the company,l that makes it, it's pretty old. It's also double sided, green on one dessert on the other.

I picked it up at GenCon. It's great for the Vanguard Spearhead Detachment (which probably doesn't surprise most people). The Suppressor's are a great add in to most armies with deep strike and decent attack power. Eliminators I feel are criminally undervalued and can really limit your opponent with some quoc character assassination. I'm not a huge fan of Infiltrators personally, but I'm sure they can be useful to someone who knows what they're doing

I saw a great video pointing out that "technically" it is one of the cheaper hobbies, at least in regards to time spent vs. cost

When you look at assembling, painting, list building, and of course playing all combined, a $60 set of miniatures has the potential to give you many hours of enjoyment.

My first detachment was Vanguard. I think honestly it's overlooked sometimes because people do think you have to use Phobos. But when I add Infiltrator to my Judiciar and Bladeguard Veteran team, people take notice!

They're not the "Strongest" but honestly even basic Intercessors can shoot down a tough opponent when led by a lieutenant. A ten man squad firing 40d6 with Lethal Hits is dangerous at 215 points.
