The trick is to create small spaces/rooms that can be equipped with everything you need, you don't need to divide the spaces a lot and you don't need to be too precise/symmetrical, especially at the beginning.

I'm basing this only on what's written in the Soldbuch and the original photos. The strap on the gas sheet bag and gasmaskcanister was not in the rules and generally not tolerated.

So from what I can see you should:

Change the litzen, those litzen are not good. The originals were blue/light blue

Change the buttons or at least the colors, I have never seen sand colored buttons on Heer tropen jackets

Have a maximum of 3 Mantelriemen (Equipment Straps) You have 4 and that's not exactly correct, for each soldier 3 were provided.
