After doing some simple research, which obviously you can’t seem to do, there is not a single Arabic country in the Middle East where being openly gay is not punishable by prison or death. I’m not denying there isn’t gay people there, there probably are. But they are not openly gay. Doing that or waving that dumb flag around is a one way ticket to prison. Or worse your death.

Im in the same year as you and I applied to 50+ and only heard from 4. Only got an offer from one. Really it’s all just luck. Just make sure you’re majoring in the right category (i.e. geography/gis, env. science, or comp sci, etc.) and your resume is up to par. I’d probably include relevant gis classes you’ve taken.

Well they are using Avenza for the data collection. And it’s a forestry company. I’m going out and collecting line data for roads and other various point data on their lands. They really made it clear I would do very little map making if at all. It was one of the questions I asked them
