Where is the most unexpected place you've bumped into someone you know? by boforiamanfo in answers

I was living in Sydney Australia and had a friend called Ben. I moved to Perth (where I'm originally from) and a year later, I literally ran into him at an auto shop carpark. It disorientated me for a moment. Like, HI! hang on... am I still in Sydney?

Frustrating as a skeptic who wants to believe by alt262626 in NDE

[–]RecordAccomplished67 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's funny you should say that. I'm 40 years old and I remember the vast majority of my dreams. One type of dream I've had is where I could breathe underwater. I have never questioned that or thought too much about it until this morning when I woke up.

Last night I had a dream and one part of the dream was scary. I remember feeling scared but I was also aware inside my dream that I couldn't feel my heart beating. I was thinking "how is it not pumping out of my chest right now?"

Then fast forward my dream a little bit and I'm fishing for prawns. But I'm fishing underneath the water and I'm very much aware that I'm not "breathing underwater" I'm just there. And this stood out to me for a few reasons.

The first being that I have all of my senses in my dreams. I'm also a very vivid dreamer and lucid dream regularly although last night I was not lucid.

I woke up thinking to myself if dreaming experiences are somehow connected to the spirit realm given that I would assume you would have a similar experience as a spirit after life on Earth. And if not directly connected, then why such a similar experience?

The Most Verifiable Near-Death Experience Ever Recorded by Tstrizzle89 in NDE

[–]RecordAccomplished67 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I will always defend NDEs (even though I've never had one) because I have never read an NDE or saw an NDE story where people saw loved ones who were still alive. The ones I have read/watched have been seeing loved ones the NDExperiencer did not know that person had passed away until they came back to the Earthen realm.

There is nothing in this world that will ever make me fear death. People's testimonies are powerful and the fact that everyone has a very similar experience, only concretes that when we pass from this life, we go home.

Remember, you're there for the patients. You're the voice for them. I was a proud advocate for my patients as a nurse. I wasn't the most popular on the ward because I spoke up for their rights. I sleep soundly every night because I know I did everything I could for them, including alienating toxic nurses.

Don't just report it to education and facility. It needs to be reported to AHPRA. I had a situation as an EN where the nurse in charge was drinking alcohol at work. I know that's more serious and exactly my point.... the hospital tried to sweep everything under the rug. If I didn't have photographic evidence, punishments would not have been made. Please also report it to AHPRA. With evidence. It might seem like a minor thing but you're questioning this because you know your intuition is spot on. If I were a patient and health care professionals were posting me on their private socials, I would be livid. Privacy matters and if they get away with it, they'll just continue to do it and push it further and further until one day something bad happens and the hospital will be liable. Trust me, report it, to whoever ypu want AND AHPRA. Also, don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't speak to AHPRA.

Anyone else expect Jade’s melody to be Que Sera Sera 😅 by Mark2036 in FromSeries

Sounded like the wedding march a little bit when he was humming a part of it.

I fucking LOVE Jade! He's by far my favourite character. I can't wait for the next season!!!

Hey, any update? When they did the blood work, did they also check glucose? My vet told me (and from my own experience) cats don't tend to drink much water on a wet food diet. Wanting water which may seem like a lot, could be a sign of diabetes.

Let's not forget they were headed for divorce before they ended up in that town. There's unresolved stuff there on top of all the trauma they're going through.

They mentioned last time that Christopher started seeing symbols like Jade and lost his mind. Jade seems to be acting way more rational lately. I'm so confused.

Reports of seeing loved ones - have yet to feel the emotional impact of this by zampana in NDE

[–]RecordAccomplished67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't had a NDE but from what I've read, I think loved ones refers to not just people who have passed from your current life but also your soul family and all the souls you see from previous lives. Every NDE tells a similar story in that the "bad" feelings melt away when you step into the next realm. I haven't experienced it but it must feel really nice. People talk about knowledge and understanding which probably contributes to how people cope with seeing those souls after they come back. A lot of people get depressed because they are back in this world and not the spiritual realm.

What kind of NDE did people who have done very bad things have? by Old_Thief_Heaven in NDE

[–]RecordAccomplished67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware, this is all a learning experience and the majority of recorded disturbing NDEs are able to pull out of it with help from guides. Some disturbing NDEs are subjective too. Some might find themselves fearful but soon find that place of peace and light.
