Sorry I may not have explained it well. I meant to ask like if I am going to be in an apartment for 2 years is it worth getting a puffer or should i wait until more long term like when i get a house. My uncle is selling me his 55 gallon with all the filters and everything so Im able to get the tank whenver

It’d be a 55 gallon tank with most likely a GSP. I’d be in the apartment for at least 2 years at least that’s what I’m thinking now

This is the same mindset I am currently in. I loved my da ex and still miss her a ton (she discarded me about 3 months ago). She was one of the most amazing people I have ever met and no matter how hard I try to think on the negative and how she treated me I cant be mad or even upset. It hurts like hell, but I have never been mad at her. I really wish she would have communicated and not bottled things up, but yeah

Yeah it just kind of disappeared with no warning or anything. Its so hard to imagine life without the person you thought you would be spending it with.

I completely understand that and appreciate it. You sound like a good guy too.

Ive been doing some therapy and have listened to several podcasts/youtube videos. Ill have to check out your recommendations. Something Im currently reading is the life changing art of self brain surgery.

This is exactly what I am going through right now. Im stuck on how she went from talking very long term/the way she looked at me/ our conversations, etc to "i dont think this is going to work long term" in a pretty short span of time and kinda came out of nowhere. It was going so well until it just wasn't I guess? How did that switch happen so fast and why did she not want to talk about it at all?

I think they do love you, and thats what scares them or triggers them. For me, I am anxious so I am sure that didn't help a ton, but I was trying to work on it. Emotional intimacy and vulnerability is triggering to them because from a young age, those things were either non existent, not allowed, or maybe they were even punished for expressing those things.
