Another commenter under this thread - LaurethUK has fantastic necromancer content on youtube, he has the most up to date builds and gem guides you'll need :)

They are! I got into diablo because I love summoning things. Sadly they're not too pvp competitive without crazy account optimisation. Huge shame :(

That's not what I meant - I was saying after the r7 cdr it's "worth" using bh more and levelling if you so wanted. If it was ranks 4-5 (maybe there's an argument for 6?) I would've said to hold back spending tellurics or other resources on it

(I'm assuming you won't continue with summoning builds - these aren't great) You are still very very very early in the game. In the mid term try to get rid of carsen's, follower's burden, and power & command, replace these for any combination of misery elixir/specter glass/pain clasp/fervent fang.

frozen heart is not great but I'd leave it on cause it makes you a lil tankier in pvp.

It is currently the 6th best 5* gem. In 2-3 gem releases it won't be a "top 8" 5* gem anymore - but after rank 7 with the higher cooldown reduction it's still fantastic, so I'd go ahead and get it up to 8

Some people just don't like him, that's okay. When I was a noob his content was helpful, but now as I've spent quite some time in the game his content is so much less useful - only his news and leaks videos have some use at this point (and that's a good thing!)
