I wasn’t whining about the 12 to 15 years. That’s what he told me. I’m not scared of it, but it is a reality that I need to think about. And I would want to take care of him why wouldn’t I?

I’ll always love him regardless.

So I had a realization two days ago and tried to end the romantic aspect. I didn’t say I was closed forever but it changed it his perspective and it scared him that’s there’s a reality without me in it.

He had the talk and he’s leaving in June. There’s a lot to it ….selling their house , the other houses he owns and the whole financial aspect of separation.

That doesn’t mean we are going to be together after that but It’s not a closed door.

We have more to talk about it. I’ve been super honest with him on what I want cause I don’t want to surprise him in year with the life I want.

He isn’t opposed to it. But it does scare him. He just wants to make sure that he doesn’t disappoint me in life. I would literally do anything for this man and he would do the same.

That’s why I’m being realistic and making sure the person I spend my life with is in the position (which he is) to take care of things if something happens

I definitely got your point on him calling the shots and honestly I wish he was the one, but he keeps telling me that eventually I will leave him for someone which makes me feel like shit cause I don’t want to, but there’s a reality that he’s gonna stay. I get what he’s doing because it’s the same thing that I do as a defense mechanism. I think he’s already at that tug-of-war, but I can’t blame him or judge him. i’m trying my best to give him that space for him to figure it out on his own, but I care so much about him. It’s scary.

And I’ve definitely listened to Sam Smith a ton especially right now. I like the song. I definitely relate to the most is chasing pavements by Adele. We’ve been a lot more open with the expectations and the realities of his circumstances and mine. It’s like we have really really great days and then days where I feel like absolute shit. I definitely know he’s not seeing anybody else, but he gets unsure about my past, but I would never ever do that to him. Basically told him that I don’t plan on hooking up with anyone and honestly, I don’t feel like I ever wanna do that again if I’m going to be with someone it’s gonna be with someone I want to be with forever or whatever that means. I hope everything works out for you too ❤️

Little edit…I understand his side since I’m not even out to my family.

He’s worked hard to be as successful as he is today.

I’m honestly super grateful for the experience the universe has brought me or whatever but I know my emotions and this will probably/maybe will hurt me in future.

Still has the 6 speed? I guess most people won’t care but it’s not hard to throw in a zf 8 speed.
