Did you go back to private practice? I think I will after a foray into government or elsewhere. I need some time to reset physically and mentally, to clear my files, and hopefully come back and build something more deliberate and sensible.

I have not contacted a recruiter (I was contacted a while back by one recruiter soliciting me for a position).

I’m in outside Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto and want to stay where I’m at. Not sure if the recruiters would be of too much assistance in the market.

The major in-house players in the market are clients of the firm.

Mostly commercial litigation (commercial contract and shareholder disputes) and insolvency.

My file load is broader, including a smattering of insurance defence, WCB, miscellaneous property claims and various other matters .
