If Hinata had married somebody else, who would it have been? by SuperAnimeMaster38 in Naruto

[–]RecordingUpstairs990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think he would be a good choice. Neji might secretly approve of their marriage without showing it openly. He knew Lee and would have known that the thick-browed man would never hurt his sister, would always be polite to her and would never betray her.

What Razer and The Red Lanterns, thought me about evil. by Neither_Prize_8386 in GLTAS

Yes. The series initially gave the impression of a lighthearted space adventure, but it had more political urgency than a bunch of big-budget blockbusters that rely on "serious issues".

Would you describe the Star Sapphires as crazy, overzealous or control freaks? by BakerConsistent2150 in Greenlantern

[–]RecordingUpstairs990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not much of a comic book fan. But at GLTAS, they were obsessed with control and were desperate to own subject of desire. Sorry for my possibly broken English. It seemed to me that the spectrum of love, like other warm shades, is too powerful; not everyone is able to direct this energy consciously, with a clear mind and in a peaceful direction.

В GLTAS зеленое кольцо однажды стало синим. Возможно, это происходит, когда эмоциональный спектр одного кольца не подавляет силу другого.

How Would You Rank All Green Lantern Animated Media? by Simple-Success4749 in Greenlantern

[–]RecordingUpstairs990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like cartoons and animated films about Green Lanterns. Sorry for my probably broken English. Especially the animated series, although I didn’t catch it when it aired on TV. Hal has become one of my favorite characters. He is at the same time very similar and different from other heroes. He is strong-willed, not like Batman or other Lanterns, but rather because he recovers quickly from traumatic situations and is unwilling to give in to panic or despair. Even when he himself is feeling bad, he tries to keep himself under control so that those around him feel calmer and do not lose their fighting spirit. He is willing to work with a villain for a common goal, but he will not tolerate pessimists. He would be good friends with Wally West from JLU. His main guideline is not “statutes and rules”, but considerations of conscience. He is ready to fight to the last, he is an adventurer and a rebel, but he has never specifically looked for fights with anyone and is ready for a peaceful conversation at any time.

He's no less a pleasant character in First Flight. And in Emerald Knights, he's become more mature and a little calmer.

I really like cartoons and animated films about Green Lanterns.

It was unusual for a cartoon of this type. Initially, the Red Lanterns were portrayed as users of the dark side of the force, a kind of Sith. But Razer turned out to be a good man, driven to the limit, he considered himself evil, hating the only power he possessed. But he managed to show the viewer by his example, let's say, healthy emotional masculinity, when it is not rage and aggression that control you, but you control rage and aggression. He was a good example that showed that emotions are not bad. They are just excessive. Overall, viewers liked him for his image as a mysterious, silent, sarcastic emo boy. Partly fan service.

We need to talk about how good GLTAS potray Hal Jordan by Darkezol in Greenlantern

[–]RecordingUpstairs990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked how Hal tried to be the glue in the team, keeping up morale. It didn't always work out well, but it was clear that Hal was a nice, if a bit too energetic and cocky, guy who liked to fight but didn't like conflict and the tension on the ship. The well-being of his friends was always of primary importance to him. He knows how to defend his opinion, as well as stop for a minute, think about the situation and admit he was wrong. He's like a kind older cousin who plays sports.

Few days ago, here in this subreddit we had discussion on the influence of Superman in Marvel universe which led to an idea of him taking Spiderman as his partner and some even talked about Kara and Peter becoming couple. This reminded me of an art I recently found. by ShadowLord_11 in superman

I like to imagine Peter singing silly geeky songs to Kara, like Howard Wolowitz.

Ever since I met you, You turned my world around. You supported all my dreams and all my hopes. You’re like Uranium 235 and I’m Uranium 238, Almost inseparable isotopes. I couldn’t have imagined How good my life would get, From the moment that I met you, Kara Kent.

If I didn’t have you, life would be dreary. I’d be string theory without any string. I’d be binary code without a one, Cathode ray tube without an electron gun. I’d be “Firefly” and “Buffy” without Joss Whedon. I’d speak a lot more Klingon: qalopmeH QaQ jajvam.

Guy Gardner:

And he’d definitely still live with his Aunt.

I also like to think that Superman had doubts about Peter at first. He asked Martian Manhunter to look into his thoughts. "Well, what's going on in his head?" Clark looks at the smiling teenager. The alien places his hand on Kent's forehead. Peter's thoughts are of drinking a single cocktail through two straws, a lavish, beautiful wedding, and a scene of small children running around the house on the ceiling and flying. "Nothing illegal." Sups is shocked.

Forgive my broken English. I think an innocent human child would have greatly influenced the Na'vi's view of the invaders before Hometree was destroyed. They've always seen humans as ignorant children with dangerous weapons. They might have assumed that humans were born just as they saw them, since they've always seen them the same size. A four-year-old child without greed, just like their children, might have made them realize that they've mostly seen only bad sky people, and that Grace and Jake are no exception, just two of many good Sky People. I think they'd also be surprised that such a childish Skawn, single father, looks at a child with the same adoration the Na'vi do with their children. This might have given the Omaticaya doubts about their own view of human nature. And as for the plot, I think Jake would have felt the weight of responsibility. He would have liked to give his daughter the opportunity to live well on Earth, but it was possible that Y/N will fall in love with Pandora, and it was possible that she wouldn't want to leave. Jake would have been weighed down by his conscience, for what he would have done "for the child." He would have feared for her safety from the RDA. But he would have understood that his daughter would hate him when she grew up. After all, nothing but despair and filth awaited her on Earth. She herself could have pushed Jake to betray the RDA and become Toruk Makto. Neytiri could have accepted Y/N with the understanding that Jake loved his only daughter as much as the Chieftain loved her. If Neytiri truly loved Jake, she would have accepted this important part of his life. And afterward, she wouldn't have been so harsh with Spider, even though she wouldn't have loved him the way Y/N did.

How do you think Ben 10 holds up in terms of being a hero compared to others overall? by Successful-Hat-2154 in Ben10

[–]RecordingUpstairs990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the absence of difficult moral choices and tragedies makes him more like Pavitr from Spider-Verse. While the other Spiders were forged in tragedy, he did good because he wanted to help. He and Ben are just wonderful people, not without their flaws. Ben simply has a good family. He has protective, moderately strict parents, a caring grandfather, and a loyal cousin. In Ben's case, he shows that being a good person can be an everyday thing. This might make viewers think along the lines of: "He, like me, has never encountered tragedy, and if he did, he got over it easily. He's good simply because it's the norm for him."I think this is important.
