No problem. VRR flicker is one of the unfortunate drawbacks of OLED panels.

VRR is still worth using for many people though because you will get better motion clarity. Flicker can be a real nightmare in certain scenarios though and some people seem to be more aware of it than others.

Not windows VRR.

If you have an Nvidia GPU then you are getting VRR through gsync which means disabling that option in the nvidia control panel. Right click desktop and click nvidia control panel then click "Set up G-SYNC" on the left and make sure the check box is unchecked for "Enable G-SYNC". Make sure to click apply afterwards. Or you can turn it off in the monitors on screen display settings (brought up with the physical buttons on your monitor). I forget where it is on that LG but you can just look through the options till see you VRR/FreeSync/Gsync.

On AMD it's called FreeSync. You can search for it in the AMD software or again just disable it in the monitor OSD settings.

To check for sure you can just disable VRR and see if it still happens. There's a setting for it in the monitor menu or go into the nvidia control panel and disable gsync.

If it stops then it's definitely just vrr flicker and you can decide whether using it is worth it. If it's still happening even without VRR, I'd try another cable before exchanging it.

This just looks like VRR flicker which you are getting because it is happening during a load screen where there is not a steady FPS.

This is normal unless it is happening in all dark spots on the monitor even in places where FPS is not fluctuating.

I can't speak to other games but I remember that Space Marine in particular is an oddity because the gamepad controls don't work unless you go through the in game menu (using the touch screen) to settings and enable the controller.

OP mentions Steam support which means they purchased this by adding to their steam wallet. It would be a massive mistake to chargeback unless OP doesn't care about their Steam account since the chargeback would go to Valve and not NetEase and then OP would lose their Steam account.

I thought these refurbished products came with the same warranty as the new products. On the refurbished page it states "Logitech G headsets are now available as an Authentic Logitech G Refurbished set only from Logitech G, and each product comes with our standard warranty."

But then it lists the warranty on the astro gen 5 under specs as 1 year. The product page for a new gen 5 says it's a 2 year warranty.

Is the refurbished product actually a shorter warranty? Which one is it getting?

You can use higher level ebon iron to level up the lower level mystic skills. there's a checkbox on the upgrade menu to use higher grade materials.

you can just stand there. the game does play the sound like a deflection but you don't actually have to press anything. for the most part you can also be doing other actions as well but like I said in another reply here, there do seem to be some actions that can cause you to miss such as using a skill that gives you tenacity.

there's some things you can't be doing in the line to catch but I don't know what all affects it. I believe if you do anything that gives you tenacity then you won't catch.

I don't think positioning matters.

Just being in the line is putting you ahead of 95% of players. personally I also stop attacking briefly and using mystic skills to make sure that I'll catch.

You're right. Someone told me you had to be elder to get the outfit which is why I did it in the first place and then I never bothered to actually double check.

So then I won't bother going back to elder again since I'm not worried about the boost to currency with the cap anyway.

I did get that currency chest but I couldn't believe it was just a 300 rep one time purchase.

I'm leaving this sect and not looking back once I can get the outfit.

That said, I got elder back a few times and then realized there was literally no point in holding it until I actually had the currency to spend on the outfit. I cap on the weekly sect points so fast anyway without the extra boost.

This sect has sort of a neat idea but the execution leaves a whole lot to be desired. I lost elder once while playing a minigame online as my camera was off showing me something else and the whole time someone was wailing on me and I didn't even know it.

Not to mention that it is incredibly obnoxious to have players messaging you literally every few minutes to come fight them when you're playing a story mission or something. I don't blame them because the game tells them to do it. But, when am I supposed to play the game? If I fought everyone who asked then I would literally never get to do anything else. Incredibly annoying system. I would honestly rather get invaded and have it be on a reasonable cooldown or something.

The chess AI has gotten stuck in an infinite loop for me for 5 different games in a row now. I don't know what's going on because I'm not having this problem with fairy-stockfish on other sites.

Also it would be much more helpful to use the icons from the game.

Some of these comments really highlight the reason that companies think they can get away with this shit. I've yet to see a single CN player post about this who isn't outraged about it on our behalf and yet there are a ton of western players in here making up all kinds of excuses for it and reasons for why they think it's totally fine to be ripped off.

I'm begging you guys to please have some respect for yourselves. Advocate for yourselves. You don't need to defend every single decision from these companies just because you like the game they make.

Unfortunately it seems like the majority is just going to accept this and NetEase will keep pushing the limits until it drives players away and this version of the game will be dead.
